Test low-poly toys in BMS4..

Nice skin (never seen before)

I never get tired of seeing these cool models posted up showing lots of interesting possibilities. A lot of these low poly models are severely underated for two reasons; 1) they can form the basis of a very interesting early development of a theater, 2) many of these models, with a great skin, can look rather impressive and give a lot of enjoyment if you can resist the temptation to inspect rivets.

Indeed, vis the ITO Mirages: quite nice in those skins, though they all could use a little improvement around the nozzle area, IMHO (Iām just an ass-man, I guess).

and ya, great memories working on peru-chile theaterā¦ Twister also invested lots time and effort on itā¦ terrain and 3d DB are roughly done and we simply canāt figure out a working campaign.
Well, if you ever do, give me a call. Iād be more than happy to contribute.

Agreed. One of my unrealized goals for ITO2 was to obtain a high poly model set for the Mirages. If we could have obtained just one, like the Mirage IIICZ, I think we could have come up with some really kicking stuff. For me, having a few high-poly center piece models for each campaign is the way to build - then use the low poly stuff for nearly everything else. This cuts the development time by quite a bit and what we did for ITO2, even though it still took 6 years. However, it might never have come out if I had insisted on waiting for all high-poly models to replace cccās stuff. Instead, we could roll thru thing rather quickly, have a lot of enjoyment and leave the door open for later improvement.

dust off a 10-year-old toy, put in BMS for fun.

Last one it reminds me of a motion picture but i cant remember its name! The whole uss enterprise (i think) was gone through a time /space worm hole or somethingā¦. hahahahaha

The Final Countdown

Worst theme-song ever, even worse than āDanger Zoneā.

Thanks for these models. So much potential. Iāve been collecting data about the Korean War for ages with a view to making some kind of Korea 1950s campaign. Aircraft types, squadrons, airfields (they moved around a lot, which complicates things) etc.
All that was missing was the aircraft themselves. Not anymore!
And before someone comes along and says, āWhatās the point?āā¦ oh cāmon. There are many ways of playing with your toys North Korea has some old aircraft in its air force, stuff like the Il-18 and MiG-15. Putting those into the base BMS database would do no harm at all, along with some other low poly gems. Anyone up for doing some Yak-18/CJ-5 and CJ-6 trainers? As far as I can tell, theyāre about the only thing still missing from the Korea theatre. It would also be nice to have an F-5F.

C3, can you confirm that the Pak-FA model does not, in fact have any slots in the last d/l? Canāt tell if Iām doing something wrong in the conversionā¦ If not, needs slots!
Freakinā Super-cool model, regardless.
