OF mods: JanHas, realism patch?

I haven’t got LE with me as I’m at work (not actually working, obviously! :D). Do any other Vipers share the same parent? In other words, is this mod currently only CM 52? I’m flying mainly CM40s in RF campaign.

Yes it does depending on sever settings.

The CM-52 won’t affect the other Block models. Your CM40’s will still be the same…

It looks like switch 54 is the culprit here… Tomorrow I will check if just keeping the gear parts on the model even when doors closed does not affect the fps… At the moment the doors are closed all inner gear parts are switched of and an entire 4096 dxt5 22mb skin and 40k poly’s for the gears does not have to be loaded into the GPU memory. A black filler will appear so see through issues are prevented… It looks like it’s the best way at the moment to fix the issue. With u1 no problems what so ever…
If the solution works I will release a new version and also include the models with the poly type 25 BMS style canopy reflection.
For multiplayer: the plan is to include the new models into the new Ikaros theater version. No issue with dat’s any more…
Update: I made a small error of including an older 3023.dds without the proper texture for LOD2/3 main gear bay. I will fix this too by including the latest version…

Hehe, thanks! But my break will begin next week Wednesday, then I’m on a week of holiday to New York. Surface pro 3 is coming with me so I can do some light modeling on the flight…
I have deleted switch 54 from the models, fixed two small lower skin mistakes (skin 3022), added the correct 3023 and I’m now checking that LAU-129 on station 3/7 issue… Release of the package will probably be in a few hours from now… (for Arty 3-4 weeks… lol )

It’s incredible how detailed are those models Jan, it seems like standing in front of the real ones! BTW, I’m installing your models right now, but I found that the Litening pod is using the wrong texture, 2196 instead of 1668. I’ve tried replacing the lod again but it didn’t work. Any way to fix that?

I’ve tried to model in Falcon BMS 4.33 U1 Clean Install and result similar…There are black areas in main wheel and front wheel system
Jan is this issue become to about with video card? - (I have 1 GB 256 Bit ddr3 video card)
front view : wheel door’s cover is not visible
Left side view : front wheel cover is visible
Right sight view : pilot Ledder and Wheel covers isnt visible.

The CM-52 is the base for the whole range of blocks/type’s. MLU, I, 40, you name it…

No, it’s a switch issue. I have corrected it and I’m now dealing with that LAU on station 3/7 issue… Last issue before I release the updated model.

Anybody else seen this?
With regard to the gear bay issues I have found it depends on loadout on pylons 3 and 7.
EDIT also on the player’s model repeatable when just kicking in the AB.

I saw that occur in OGGLOD, presumed it was intentional. It must be one of the fixes JanHas has got planned.
