Full Acronym List?

mmmh, you won’t get away so easily
specifically which ones are missing from the MLU M2 list above?
The document you linked doesn’t tell me which are missing Yet you seemed to be sure about these ones missing.Pointing just another list (probably incomplete as well - or maybe even totally different) won’t prove to me that your statement was correct
This is starting to get irksome.
Exactly my point

The document you linked doesn’t tell me which are missing Yet you seemed to be sure about these ones missing.two specific examples missing - VVI and HSI, being Vertical Velocity Indicator, and Horizontal Situation Indicator. Thus my statement that there were missing acronyms, is correct.
You need not fear “probably” incomplete lists - as I indicated above, the lists I provided were not so complete as I had thought them. Rest assured, they are not complete!

“…what are they talking about?”

I was thinking of the following:
FAC(a) - Forward Air Controller (Airborne)
JTAC - Joint Terminal Attack Controller
SCAR - Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance
OAS - Offensive Air Strike
DAS - Deep Air StrikeBut they are all missions types so probably don’t belong on this list

Scope is an important part of any project. Figure out what applies to it, and what doesnt.
The thread title is Full Acronym List, so presumably, all acronyms would belong on it…

I don’t think a “full” acronym list exists…anywhere. Besides, you know you’ve been doing too much of this when you get to the point that you find you don’t need one…
…stay thirsty.

Mack97 - thanks for putting up “the list” - I found it useful for ref.

What I couldn’t find anywhere is the RS used in the mission debriefing.
I can only assume it means Returned Safely, since it’s shown when you’ve ejected from the aircraft
but are not MIA (missing in action).Yet, I didn’t find it in any documentation, only as the australian abbrevation for “unservicable”.

I’ve always taken it to mean Rescued. The SAR package found that guy.
