YAME64 suite

I’ll have to test it tomorrow. I uninstalled it and have got to sleep. Being on the opposite sides of the pond is a PITA lol.
-
I’ve also noticed that since I reset my computer last time I can no longer disable Windows Defender anti virus permantly. Every time I reboot I have to turn it off again. I tried disabling it in services and was told access denied?? WTF… I’m wondering if that is part of the problem. Helios is working fine as is MFDE but one day YAME was flawless and the next porked.

yes I’m flying the Greek (HAF) models of 52+…so if I get it right it’s a cockpit related issue and nothing I can do, right?
Same problem here… A walkaround is to open BMS (ikaros theater) select Instant action enter 3D and after exiting 3D you are good to go with your TE. Works for me every time. If i try to start the TE first no MFD-DED-RWR extraction.

Hi,
I have a problem with the distance visualization of bullseye range circles in the moving map (CPD Block 60). The centre position is correct, but the first circle begins with 0 miles distance and not with 20 or 30 miles. So all other circles have wrong distance description. I have tried all parameters in setup?
Thx
Cop

Wanted to see if anyone is running a similar config and has had any issues.
Have 3 monitors running surround on GTX-970’s and a 4th running on integrated HD-4500.
Had no issues extracting to the 4th monitor before but when I fired up YAME this weekend there was no display.
Moved the YAME window back to the main displays and it worked fine. Tried to drag it back to the 4th monitor and it starts flickering in/out on that monitor and then just disappears.
Same thing happens when trying to Edit Gauges. There’s just no display.
Made sure drivers were up to date and created a 2nd window to test with, it does the same thing.
Can drag anything else but YAME to that monitor and it functions fine. Kinda stumped.Just in case anyone else runs into this.
It was the newer Nvidia drivers causing.
Been busy IRL and never had a chance to troubleshoot this.
Had to roll all the way back to 385.41 and everything is working fine again.
Tried all the drivers from the latest 391.01 back to 385.41. Go figure. -

I ended up getting a new 960 Evo SSD drive and cloned my old MBR to it and then rolled back the intel graphics driver to the one that came with the motherboard and YAME has started every time since. But like TxMtb said, no matter what I do, YAME will not load to the second screen. It will load to the main screen instantly but freezes and crashes when I move it to the second monitor. I’ll try that driver now and see if it fixes it.

No joy. it worked once, then I exited Falcon and shut down Helios and YAME. tried to fire yame back up and it wouldn’t even start again. Geeze I’m getting tired of flying DCS even if it is with a Rift lol. I’m going to try renaming YAME.XML like Roccio recommended.
Edit… I changed the name to YAME.old and it started. However, once again it will only load on the main display.
Edit 2… I changed my monitor layout and put the second screen on the opposite side of the main and no joy again. It still hangs when loading anywhere other than the main monitor.

Sorry that didn’t cut it for you. I flew several hours tonight and no issues. I was getting the freezing when dragging videos and browsers along with Yame to the forth monitor. Everything so far is working.

When you say dragging it over, do you mean dragging the layout from your main screen to the new screen by using the mouse? I’ve never tried that. I always put in coordinates and never have it windowed. I’ll try that as well.
Edit… That works to be able to use it but not how I normally would. In order to drag it over I have to leave a border on it. Unfortunately I use a Helios profile over it and it doesn’t align. Still thanks for the help.

I just downloaded YAME64 and try to run Target Script (thrustmaster) to load the profile of morfine. At the Field “path” I filled the path pointing to the executable file of the application and it works. But when I try to load the profile through the field “commandline” filling the path pointing to the profile and click “run” I get the error: “Currently selected file does not exist, please select another file”. I checked if I made an error filling the path or the name of the profile and everything is ok. Can anyone help mr on what I need to fill in order to run the selected profile?
Thanks. -

Thanks roccio, Here you have:

The code you have posted shows a space in the path name, \TARGETScriptEditor.e xe

It was an error on the copy paste to show the content of the YAME64.xml . I checked and appears correct.
-
I think the problem are the spaces in C:\Program Files (x86)
I have not tested, but you could try to change the strings:<path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\x64\TARGETScriptEditor.e xe</path>
<commandline>C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\scripts\warthog_BMS_Full _Paddle_swap.tmc</commandline>to
<path>“C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\x64\TARGETScriptEditor.exe”</path>
<commandline>“C:\Program Files (x86)\Thrustmaster\TARGET\scripts\warthog_BMS_Full_Paddle_swap.tmc”</commandline>In the next version this is fixed in the code.

Thanks Roccio, seems to work now.

Hi all,
I just installed YAME to get a nice working Carapace (Belgian MLU RWR). Sadly, the RWR resolution appears to be rather poor (left), especially compared to what MFDE offers (right):
Is there any way to increase the resolution?
Thank you very much. -
The left images is what bms offers. Should be ok in regards of resolution and is a correct view of The carapace.
Your right image of mfde is not carapace but the ATD.
Yame has that too. With newer symbology or with carapace prio mode (bearing & distance in the box on tje bottom instead of a red line) and / or with carapace labels.
See the manual in the atd chapter for more details.
