Guilty Pleasures - Flying #2 with AI Lead and pilot management

And you had pictures of the pilots. So you could decide to keep the smart looking ones alive and let the stupid looking ones go boom.
What?

Everything you have described happens online these days.

This is interesting. I have just picked up BMS since last flying Falcon4 way back in the early 2000’s. I am working through the training missions and finding doing everything so much more complicated than I remember.
I might take your ‘suggestion’ here and start flying as a wingman when I get into some ‘live’ combat, rather than trying to lead and manage the flight.
I will be looking for an online squadron to join - hint hint - but for now my internet connection is most likely too rubbish (2Mbps down, 400kbps up).

Probably funny again, for me it is not, pilot resource planning had more depth.

This picture doesn’t have the portraits. I was serious, I’d like to have an AI team to manage as we used to.
Edit : ah yes I see it now. Wait, I see an attachment here??
Some of these pictures were showing really weird faces. -
I fly solo and appreciate what you have to say. It seems to me that supply hasn’t been an issue for many, many years. The resupply timeframe has broken forever hasn’t it?

I fly with AI a lot, especially for live weapons training on our 24/7 server online, and it certainly sucks when we run out of certain munitions at some airbases and I don’t exactly understand it - planning a mission with a friend, then getting into the 2D at the base, and i swear there are times when we can’t choose our preferred munition. Never really dug into what to change in my master campaign Day 1 file, so I just roll with it. But it would be cool to know the mechanics of the resupply, to know when that airbase might get said munitions back in stock, or whether they ever had them to begin with….
I’ve also been enjoying ordering the AI around a lot more lately now that I can do it with my voice, but not sure if I should be disabling some commands for when I’m wingman or just accept that certain commands would not go through even if my VoiceAttack recognized the phrase, especially when the flight is all AI but me as wingman. Haven’t decided what would be best yet.

Been flying since the falcon 3.0 days. I sort of don’t speak much but I did discover something I felt the need to share .
Anyone else get tired of always being winglead for AI flights? I found that trying to work as flying #2 or 4 is pretty need in keeping formation and doing your best to work with the AI leader - and coming from old titles like wing commander , strike commander, or any other story focused arcade/flight sims usually has you as wingman for while as the story progresses .
Thanks for reading .
Ameriveaux, I try to do that 2-3 times a week, as much needed formation flying practice. IMHO, if you can hang with an AI Lead, you can hang with anyone.
Dos Gringos-“We’re the Wingmen, it’s nice to meet you, too. We’re going to stand here until you tell us what to do” -
One thing I like to do is I will order (AI) wingman to RTB. I then follow and enjoy an actual 2 ship formation landing.

The resupply works fine
The problem is that the campaign have far too many ressources
Fly TVT and you’d better be careful not too loose too much ac
