Even still, you wouldn’t refuel on-deck using that port - you 'd use the NATO receptacle on the side of the jet, which is manually operated by the fueling personnel -
True but opening the AR door is still necessary to depressurize the fuel system.
-
Looking at the Dash 1, opening the AAR door is not a line item in the Shutdown checklist, so I highly doubt this is “required”. If you did not open the AAR door prior to shutdown you would have to get a HYD cart out to open it every time you wanted to refuel on deck, post flight. So there’s something else happening to depressurize the tanks.
EDIT: Found it. The Dash 1 details the “Fuel Tank Vent and Pressurization System”, and if you look over the system diagrams really closely you’ll find the Overboard Vent line, which also looks like it exits below the left wing by the diagram, but I won’t swear to that. It’s sort of hard to spot, because it’s across 2-3 pages of the system diagram.

I agree. Would be useful to have wingie orbit at altitude instead of following you down. Maybe need to try “flex”.
yes that was indeed the answer

It would be really handy to have a filter option for the HAD in order to select which emitters are displayed, making it much easier to select the correct one in very tight groups.

If it exists IRL. Otherwise……

I would like to see (or hear) some indication that a campaign is over- win, lose or draw, besides just the clock stopping. Some sort of Thanks for your service at least.

that would be great.

I think there should be increased visibility by the enemy if we turn cockpit lights on.
-
…actually, it should be decreased visibility of the enemy if cockpit lights are up, because the attendant canopy glare should interfere. Especially at night.

I wonder if it’s already the case maybe, there’s a little chance it was implemented. I wouldn’t be surprised.
-
…aahhh…BY the enemy…I haven’t noted, but is this also the case if your NAV/Form lights are on vice off? And/or your radar?

Please remove all trees close to the runway approach ends. Nearly every KTO airbase has trees way to close to the approach path.

Which one exactly (airport / QFU) ?

I think he means if player has lights on, enemy can see you better.

Which I’ve been trying to find documentation on but thought that was thing even maybe back to the Realism Patches. Killing the lights at fence in was stressed because it effected your visibility multipler to AI or something like that.

Yes…that’s what I finally noodled.

I’d like the required port number to be changeable in the next update.
I want to open a public 24/7 and closed a training server for my squadron at the same time. -
Hm, I think this should be possible if you can assign more than one public IP to your server. Using the separate public IPs instead of 0.0.0.0 when starting the host should work if BMS binds to them correctly.
If you have issues running two BMS instances on a single server, you could try hosting on Linux and using 2 separate VMs for hosting on a single machine, OR use some kind of Linux proxy (xinetd & friends) to forward the traffic on the public IPs / Ports to the BMS instances in the local network.
I agree though it would be easier to handle if the ports were configurable in Falcon BMS.cfg for example. (this also would require the IVC ports to be configurable per server instance I think).
All the best,
Uwe
