@qawa I would love to see the F-16A cockpit someday

I know that Rypley Heās already started a F16A cockpitā¦

Itās our training plane, so if a cockpit dedicated to it arrives, that would be fantastic. Or until a TALON shows up.

@qawa
Is Rypleys pit stil in active development? Last update is 13 dec 2021, with short note form 8th august 2022 that some work/rl issues had to take precedence over. He hasnāt been very active over last year, so Iām not sure about current status of this project.
That freeware pid looks cool, but iirc someone noticed issues with geometry/dimensions. But itās great example what can be done with PBR and other modern 3D gfx wizardry. -
@Xeno About Rypleys pit, I dont knowā¦we can only hope that he will return here soonā¦ the model from the web yesā¦ itās ready for PBRā¦ Iāll try to get permission for a collaborationā¦ fingers crossed

@qawa
Oh man that would be awesome to have in BMS pits half as detailed as one from that website. PITs are exactly the place where BPR is needed the most coupled with solid lights model (sun, flood, spotlight etc ā¦). -
Rypley! Cāmon man! Give us some hope about the F-16A pit!
-
@qawa Ok,nice to hear thatā¦waiting for surprise
-
@qawa I remember that you developed in the past an F5 cockpit for Nordic Cold War. Could it be again in BMS?
Grazie!
-
@Daisan I swear you that Iāve a lot want to doā¦ there are many giants in BMS to climb on Her shoulder and see a beautiful horizon !!!
-
Is there anyone who has tried the F15C ?
Iām trying to create a rampstart, but there is not much feedback aroundā¦
-
3dpit ? ā¦ seriouslyā¦
Iām not sure Iām still useful to this communityā¦
maybe (for me) itās best choice leaves this place to the best F16 lovers in the worldā¦
PS: But I will continue to work for my team as long as they wantā¦
-
@qawa please donāt stop! I think itās a bit of a hurry up and wait. For me, Iām waiting for the full implementation of F-15 before I take a dive into it. I love that itās a model that DCS doesnāt really do (itās a FC3 plane so it doesnāt really count). I personally Iwould love to have a F-5E in BMS too. We all I think have aircraft we would like to see and of course there is the OFM group, but again I havenāt taken a deep dive into them yet partly because I know itās F-16 avionics still. So the whole other full fidelity airplanes in BMS will reach a critical mass and we appreciate you being part of the foundation!!! I think it will be the next major leap in BMS, much like we have seen many new/returning users with VR, I think the other aircraft will have a similar wave of bringing more people to BMS.

Have you asked this on the Falcon Lounge Discord channel?

it is true that we donāt seen anything of what is boiling in the pot, and perhaps my enthusiasm go too much away without realizing that to do important things takes timeā¦ I can admit that flying with DCS cockpits is much more fulfilling than flying with my frankestein-pitā¦ but Iāll continue to work with effort and enthusiasm as long as I have the great support of my team ! -

Many of the community developed MOD aircraft are limited to FC3 aircraft systems, albeit there seems to be a greater flexibility for adjusting some stuff.
Your F-15C cockpit looks great, havenāt had the time to fly beyond my own works testings though. I took two brief assessments and have been looking for some documentation, but there is none, or have I overlooked it?
