Is Falcon BMS close to the real thing?

i mean the internals and the way the armament works are they realistic, or are some features & buttons not there in the real cockpit. I would like to know that is all

What real F-16 doesnt have time acceleration and freeze? how do they do anything!

Its the only Combat Flight Sim out there that’s got me addicted, and knowing that the great people working on future releases are passionate about the F-16 and Flight Sims in general I think its safe to say it will just get even better as time goes on, the goal is realism.;)

Yes besides classified rwr internals and ecm internals. Other stuff either not implemented yet or classified.

IRL, you can’t modify the fuze AD via MFDs.

Don’t forget that you can’t change the HUD color in IRL as well.

Always have to enter Lat/Long before align.
Lots more options for dimming interior lights.
Squelch for radios.
Can start with one JFS bottle instead of both.
Can dial manual freq into backup UHF head.
RWR activity saturation.
The entire SMS back end.
Page-specific bright/contrast/sym MFD settings.
Smooth control of the depressed reticle.
Anything air conditioning or anti fog.
Several things about exterior lighting.
TACAN ident monitoring.
Have Quick.
D/B model cockpit.
Radar beacon use.
Several HARM/HAD features.
Several TGP features.It’s a lot of little things.

Every F- 16 is different IRL. Every single one of them. In one way or another. So there will be some details in BMS that are different, not there or not accurate to a specific F-16, but nothing relevant to us in my opinion. BMS is as close as needs to be.

For the old-school 8-10 minute align? Nowadays they have that fancy 4-minute EGI if I’m not mistaken.

Yea, I would like to see you put bms on an iPhone. Doubt very much you could fly it.
