If you could have one thing in the next update it would be?
This:
….
…. and a talent knob.

The IFF is a good idea, it works in Free Falcon, have not flown it in a while and only have up to update 5 so missing at least one but it seemed to work ok.
But since this is a wish list I really would like to have in the keystroke list a OFF keystroke (callback) for the OFF position of the autopilot. With the Warthog using S4 switch as the shift, (Ctrl 3 Autopilot disconnect ) does not work. The keystroke “a” will always cycle thru from Pitch hold to ATT Hold to OFF but I rarely use ATT Hold. By having a three position autopilot switch, command, Pitch hold, OFF, and ATT Hold you have better options. The BMS call back list has that option (under armament listing). I believe that would be nice to have in the Keystroke file for us that are unable to build scripts

SimRightAPUp “MISC RIGHT A/P MAG SW PITCH ALT HOLD”
SimRightAPMid “MISC RIGHT A/P MAG SW A/P OFF”
SimRightAPDown “MISC RIGHT A/P MAG SW ATT HOLD”
SimRightAPInc “MISC RIGHT A/P MAG SW UP”
SimRightAPDec “MISC RIGHT A/P MAG SW DN”
SimRightAPSwitch “MISC RIGHT A/P MAG SW TOGGLE”
SimLeftAPUp “MISC LEFT A/P SW ROLL HDG SEL”
SimLeftAPMid “MISC LEFT A/P SW ATT HOLD”
SimLeftAPDown “MISC LEFT A/P SW STRG SEL”
SimLeftAPInc “MISC LEFT A/P SW UP”
SimLeftAPDec “MISC LEFT A/P SW DN”
SimLeftAPSwitch “MISC LEFT A/P SW TOGGLE”I think you should be able to perform next actions.

Thanks for the info but I use the Keystroke file not the BMS file It is easier for me after years of Saitek controllers. I’ve tried Using foxy I do have a cougar (currently under repair) but hoping that TARGET GUI software will help me program it. I understand that scripting is much better but I just don’t understand it. Might be age or just not capable of understanding it. I’ve run Foxy tutorial several times but no joy it just doesn’t click. So I’m part of the 10 percent who just can’t. Now if you are telling me that you can mix and match i.e. I can use the Keystroke file and the BMS file together, that’s news to me and would love more information about that. The BMS file has way to many blanks to be filled in with keystrokes for my taste. But I do thank you for the info. What I have done is use the autopilot button as “A” on the warthog The I put the Ctrl 3 in the TG1 and TG 2 (OM) Now it will function almost as advertised. Auto pilot on (pitch hold) trigger pulled to TG 2 and held for 1 second or less A/P will when TG released to OFF position. make climb or descent then push A/P button again. If you pull the trigger a second time without cycling the A/P switch it will cycle down to the ATT Hold position.
So in effect I’ve solve the problem, but added a second switch to the equation not what you want in the heat of battle.
But once again thank you for the response.WeakLink

The IFF is a good idea, it works in Free Falcon
Which is as well implemented than JDAM and FAC mission in BMS.

Oh yeah, time to land on that and mangle my jet! Awesome!

Another “i think hard to implement but would be awesome”:
ATIS

more buildings.
good HD textures, terrain, airports, skins.
Clear, sparkling water.new game engine, Falcon BMS V5.0

Currently flares light shows inside of the cockpit I don’t think it is supposed to be like that… pls fix it… and also fix the internal lighting in general…
It will help a lot flying at night without nvgs
Also please do something about the network code, shure it is a lot better than older versions (ie OF) but all the port forwarding mess… you get the point…[emoji6] -
Video clips. They are too out dated.

my bad i ment improve… it is good but it can be better

bms has no port forwarding mess
as long as you set it up right (connection speed etc) it should work basically out of the box.
did for me anyway

Get an X65F. It has four buttons for exactly that purpose.
Get a Cougar and chuck an FCC-3 kit into it. The X-65F’s buttons preclude the use of custom force levels due to a software bug, and it has some layout… issues.

Hey, I’m a boob. I’ll fly with ya.
