Greetings.
I can’t solve an issue I ran into recently, maybe you could help me.
I installed Yame long time ago, and it’s worked perfectly on 4 monitors (one big screen form BMS, three small monitor for MFD and center).I had to change my monitor cables, because of other reasons, and since then the two small MFD monitor is not working. Windows see them, extended desktop is working on them, if I go into gauges settings, the Yame windows and they content is in the good position, placed into the center of both MFD frame. Everything seems fine as it should.
But when I click on start Yame client, only the center monitor will be white, and in BMS only the center monitor show me Yame content. Both side monitors show me only the Windows background. Not sure what could solve this problem, before I would start delete or reinstall anything, I ask you first.
Any idea?Thanks in advance.

Nwm, I have found the error.
Something unchecked the “Visible” checkbox in they “Edit” page… I swear, it wasn’t me -
I am already using the “disable full screen optimization” workaround, but it does not help me. As soon as the hook dll is there, the resolution os locked…
I must have launched BMS and YAME like 100 times today looking for a pattern and trying a possible working combination.
Too bad, because the texture extraction works good, but the hook extraction works even better, or at least it did on my W7x64 install.
Arty, when you say new versio, I understand you#re talking about the 1.2.1, right?? But this version is quite old, isn’t it?
Well, after lots of try and error BMS runs, I found a pattern that solves my resolution lock problem. I post it because it may be helpful for others in the future…
As I said, this low res lock problem, only happens when I use th 3dhook extraction.
I found a workaround. After launching BMS (either through the BMS shortcut or directly via YAME) I have to alt+TAB and cycle back again to the BMS UI.
I have to do this every time I enter the 3d world.
This means that everytime I go back to the 2dUI, I have to alt+TAB and cycle back to the BMS. This way the next time I enter the 3d, the resolution is corrcet and the display streches to my three monitors.
As Roccio said, this looks more like a Windows issue. It is not a very stylish workaround, but it works…
I did not find a way to make it work without alt+tabbing. It looks like if BMS lost focus as thf full screen app or somethnig like that.

Where is the “MLU” checkbox mentioned in the YAME manual to use the MLU options?
BTW: GREAT PROGRAM!!! -
Where is the “MLU” checkbox mentioned in the YAME manual to use the MLU options?
BTW: GREAT PROGRAM!!!It’s not somewhere general, it’s an option at every gauge that has a specific MLU variant.
See for example at page 53, section 6.2.4.1 Oil pressure, nozzle position, RPM, FTIT, hydraulics A & B:Some older blocks have markings on several gauges. When selecting “MLU” checkbox in YAME, the gauges will be shown with those green/red markings.
Additionally, when checking “MLU” checkbox for the RPM gauge is shows the correct gauge going to 100% instead of the newer engine that goes to 110%. -
Am…Um…shall there be a 4.34 update or is it compatible?

I’d say, it’s 98% compatible but, looking forward to the new version.

So, I am having the same issue as jcenzano was having…
@jcenzano:I updated from windows 7 to windows 10. My YAME installation does not work anymore.
I tried to reinstall, but i am having the very same problem after the reinstall.
The first I run YAME it propts me to “First select the BMS folder”, but in the Globals tab, I can’t select anything. BMS is working ok

I tried the search this thread function, but I could not find anything applicable.
EXCEPT, I did not change OS’s, only 4.33 to 4.34. I did what Fd suggested below…
If you can’t set BMS path in the globals tab (ref manual page 80 and on), set it manually in the config. Search for yame64.xml in the config subfolder and set it correctly on this part of the file:
<falcon><windowed>true</windowed> <path>C:\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1</path></falcon>
WITH no luck. My Globals tab is still blank. Here is my YAME64.xml file. Any thoughts on why I cannot select the the new 4.34 install on Globals???
<apps version="1.2"><ui><pos x="79" y="47"><clientonly>true</clientonly></pos></ui> <falcon><windowed>true</windowed> <path>C:\Program Files\GAMES\Falcon BMS 4.34</path></falcon> <server refreshrate="30" port="53000"><texturehook>false</texturehook> <keyserver>true</keyserver></server> <client refreshrate="30" runserver="false"><texturehook>false</texturehook> <server port="53000" sync="false">127.0.0.1</server> <smoothtextures>true</smoothtextures> <mipmaptextures>true</mipmaptextures> <layout>jolly_touch.xml</layout> <usetouchscreen>true</usetouchscreen></client></apps>
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,

Until Rocio does his work, (give him time), open yame and execute BMS4.34 with his own executable, or change to the previous version 1.1.0

Goodmorning all, the following question has been answered regarding 4.33, but i have to ask again for 4.34…
Does 4.34 & YAME supports 3 MFD’s?
