Let’s hope things get better for him, we wait patiently for the big day
Thank you very much. Hope to get some free time soon.

If you are using another theater and you are using the CPD moving map, you also need to change HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Benchmark Sims\Falcon BMS 4.33 U1\curTheater to reflect the new theater.
I did it for EMF. Map appears now correctly but position is not updated. Maybe is due to EMF theater not exisiting in Falcon 4.33 instalation? Coordinates seems to be wrong. Route is missing also.

First I have to express my appreciation for all the work Roccio does, it is amazing.
With 4.34U2 running smoothly on W10 (btwI use Y64 only for CPD) this is my experience:…
-No data from WDP imported in CPD, I tried the options in the GUI
So my combo is W10 BMS4.34U2 YAME1.2.1 and I am checking out the CPD mostly for the moving map.
It works somewhat. I get my position and the bulleseye but I am not seeing the steerpoints on the map. In the upper left of the display the steerpoints are accurate as to distance and bearing but they do not include Action, TOS, IAS, or Alt?

Hi guys, I have BMS 4.34U2 and have just downloaded YAME64. It doesn’t work whatsoever and I guess it’s because I haven’t got 4.33 installed. Basically when i start YAME64 and try to launch client it says "you have g_bExpoRTTTextures set to 0 in falcon bms.cfg , so NO extraction will be possible. I checked the bms.cfg file and it is set to 1. Would I solve this problem by installing 4.33 and following the HOW TO guide from the YAME website? or is there a different problem?
-
Just follow the workaround with installing 4.33 I have Yame64 running with since 4.34 as well with U1/U2 running
-
ok, so I’ll install 4.33. It won’t mess up anything in 4.34, will it?
-
You install it into a seperate Folder
I.e
C:/Falcon BMS 4.34 and C:/Falcon BMS 4.33
It won’t mess up anything. 2 instances that don’t have anything in commonOn my side I even haven’t done the registry entry and it works.
Only thing to mention whenever you restart BMS and have the Yame Cient still running you have to stop and start the Yame Client as well. That doesn’t mean to close Yame completely just stop and start with the button in the Yame UI

AWESOME! Got it working! I had to do a full uninstall (including deleting the folder it was installed in previously) to make it work again. Now it’s time to setup the 2nd screen with all the gauges. Guess that will take a while! thanks for your help

Does anybody know where to get the panel “load layout” that is displayed on the YAME64 website screenshot page? the panel im asking about is the last one of the screenshots titled “BAF MLU with ATD & EHSI in action”? This is the link: https://www.yame64.com/wp-content/gallery/user-interface/yame_20170105.png

I don’t understand your question.
Load layout is a button to load premade layouts. The layout you mention, is one I made, and is present in the install.Manual page 77:
You can also load a layout file or save the one with a different name (for backup in example). This way you can create several layouts and load the one you want for this Falcon BMS session. You can even share your preferred layouts with friends.
By default YAME will try to load the default.xml. If that file is not present, you will get a popup saying you need to select a layout file.
Layout files are stored in XML format in your YAME subfolder “layouts”.Just select the _mlu-baf crpatd-ehsi.xml

Hi Focaldesign and thanks for the quick reply. When I select the mlu-baf_crpatd-ehsi.xml file and then start client I can see all the instruments/gauges and they all work but what I don’t have is the background panel. All I have is the gauges on a black background. So for example, next to the HSI there is no fuel qty sel panel, just a black background. How do I get the full panel?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/p7l3x2oxmc0yy2a/mlu-baf%20_crpatd-ehsi_bg.xml?dl=0 try this file. Drop it in the yame64/layouts folder.

You might need to alter the layout xml file a bit depending on where you have yame installed. In the first part (the first <window>element of the <windows>section), you’ll see the parameter and the path to the file. Mine is at c:\program files\yame64\images, but yours might be somewhere else, depending on where you installed Yame. Change it where necessary. Use notepad, not word or text editor that adds metadata etc to the file.</windows></window> -

I think I will have plenty of time to play with it whilst my airline is grounding it’s fleet this coming week!

Hi all,
i’m using YAME 64 v. 2.0.0.44 with Falcon BMS 4.34.3 Update ( no 4.33 installed). Since 4.34 i have a problem with RWR. It shows wrong letters for some source. For Example when “F” emitter comes up on 3D RWR, YAME shows “70”. Anyone knows how to solve ?
-
since you are using a pre-release beta, it can not be fixed, except by the author, AFAIK.

Hi
I usually fly BMS with YAME 64 showing the instruments, MFD, etc in a second monitor (I love it!!) but sometimes it suddenly stops working
Not a big issue, I can keep flying the mission because it does not stop the main BMS screen, but I lose all the dials, MFD, etc in the second screen
Any ideas?
Best regards
