first who are you to judge?
second can i write my wishes or you are allowed to say what is right or wrong?
third when i ve studied falcon that is waht i am doing until 99,can i ask if in the same game i can also relax myself?I will assume you’re replying to my post?
Define FORUM - a meeting or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.
First - Who’s judging? Surely I am entitled to an opinion as much as the next user?
Second - You wrote your wishes, I wrote mine?!
Third - Seriously, where is the sense in reintroducing dropped features which go against what the development team are trying to achieve, to cater for the whims of one or two users. Simplified avionics are a huge step backwards, and in a study sim which is trying its hardest to become a faithful reproduction of the F-16, why would they want to bastardise the whole thing with totally unrealistic features? Ultimately, persevere with the avionics suite as presented, and you’ll get a whole lot more out of the software in the long run. There are plenty other relaxation tools out there. Have you considered even stepping away from the PC and tried meditation as a method of relaxation? -

second can i write my wishes or you are allowed to say what is right or wrong? No need to argue. “Easy avionic” code has been definitively withdrew from code and will never be supported again by BMS.
Personal thoughts, is that it is anyway counterproductive to learn things completely different, and on dev side, it is wasting developement time and efforts.
Edit: Already answered by Cruz as I can see.

“Iff” I may put this thread back in the right context…and beg everyone’s pardon if this has already been addressed. No time to read all 40 pages of the thread…
What one thing I could have in the next update would be the removal of that “D-bag” narrator who says “That was a real goat rope!” & “Ya know the airlines are hirin’!” after dogfights! (Sooo freakin’ annoying!!)

If you dont know who the best fighter pilot is, it aint you.

please make a command that helps stop making the AI pilot use up all his weapons upon asking him once to attack or shoot. This is really bad when it gets to HARM. Also, a command that makes him turn external lights ON/OFF if that makes any difference in as far as visibility by enemy ground troops.

There already is: Fence in

You can get your wingman to stop shooting by giving Weapons Hold. You have to be very quick. Once he shoots the first weapon, immediately give him the command Weapons Hold. This works for HARMs for sure.

You can also do this. Use HTS to lock the first target and issue the command to fire. AIs are slow, there is usually a few seconds of delay. In the meantime, lock onto a different target you want him to hit. As soon as he say “Magnum”, issue the second command.

This thread is long. Probably many people have said about the same things. Just some of my 2 cents, mostly bugs fixes:
1. Wingman and tanker. Sometimes, the wingman tops off and tanker would not take you back in anymore. Even after you exit 10 mile radius and re-request tanker service. Pressing Y-1 would get no response at all. I suspect it’s because the wingman is forgetting to do Y-3 “Done fueling”, so the tanker was thinking the wingman was still with them.2. Another tanker wingman bug. A few times, my wingman tops off, but refuses to leave the tanker’s side. Even after you keep issuing the rejoin order. At this point, the wingman is pretty much gone. It would fly with the tanker until outa fuel and crash to death. Every radio commands, he will acknowledge but just does nothing. Not even RTB will force him off the tanker’s side.
3. I know JSOW is not probably modelled in current version. But the range caret of this weapon feels way off. I was flying 20k at 400 and the caret is still telling to wait until I am right on top of the target to drop weapons. The AIs usually drop way out of caret indicated range and still got hits.
4. AIs seem to love their fuel tanks so much that they would be willing to die with them. Last night saw a couple of f-15s engaged in BVR fights with Su27s. I saw them rolling, twisting, flipping trying to dodge the incoming missiles with tanks still attached.
Some additions would be nice:
1. A radio command to order wingman to use nearby tankers. One mission, AI wingman was low on fuel but, I still have plenty. There is a nearby tanker. If I had gone to tanker with him then I would have lost the tracks of ground targets. So I was forced to order him home.2. AIs love to use AB even if at low fuel state. Somehow they can always burn down fuel much faster than humans. Maybe some codes telling AIs to use fuel economic cruise settings unless in combat.

I know but I would like to avoid having to keep an eye on him just so he doesn’t waste all his weapons

For long range SEAD mission, I usually have wingman take on CBUs while I take HARMs. Flying at 30k, loft shots to take out radars at long range then let wingman have at the rest.

Roger that. It would make it much easier if the AI releases one weapon at a time.

Of course, the funniest part about all this is that while we’re complaining that the AI releases multiple HARMs, we’re also complaining that they don’t drop all their bombs in one pass! It’s just one of those little things that drives us all nuts…

You are right about that. For HARMS, I no have problem with the AI as I tell them weapons hold after each shot…and continue to do that for all wingman/element. It takes a lot of management, but I am use to it.
