Well my friend Archer helped me out with this on Falcon Online’s Discord;
“Try deleting d3d11.dsp
It is in X:\Falcon BMS 4.37\User\Config
Once you delete this bms should reset to default graphics setting”
And it did. All sorted.

Hi chaps.
I recently decided to take a break from using VR for BMS because it was too damned hot to wear the headset.
I decided to revert back to TIR temporarily, however I hit a snag when entering the pit. All was fine in 2D by the way. I could see everything in the positions that they normally should be.
The countdown screen was also fine but as soon as the clock had wound down to enter the mission the loading screen, then the 3D world went to the top of my screen, leaving a small strip of viewable screen along the top of my monitor.
Two question;
Code: 185th Virtual Fighter Squadron
Website: http://www.185th.co.uk
Language: English
Number of active pilots: 8
Timezone: UTC
Recruiting: YES
New pilot required qualifications: 18 years old plus. English speaker.
Contact person: Vosene
Description:
The 185th VFS, previously known as the 185th Reservoir Dogs, has been on the Falcon scene since 1999 and still flying regularly. We fly campaign and TE missions with an aim to continually develop our skills and protocols while still having fun. We also take part in on line campaigns with other squadrons and servers.
We provide a programme of training for recruits following an introductory flight with the boss, Vosene, so you can see what we are about and to enable us to see what level of training you require.
If you are good enough you will be allowed in to fly our official missions straight away.
While most of our pilots are and have been English, we currently have people from France, Israel and the Netherlands on our roster (even Hungarian and Welsh! [insider joke]) and have had German, Belgian, Brazilian and Americans with us in the past.
Visit our web site to apply or check us out on Discord. You are more than welcome.
@Seifer Guys,
I have to take a moment to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the immense amount of work you all do for the community. It is truly humbling.
We shall wait patiently for this and any updates knowing that you will have given your awesome skills and free time for us.
Thank You.
@tiag That’s good. I’ll pass on your greetings.
@tiag Hey Tiago. You beat me to it with these. I hope you’re keeping well.
This is solved. The contents of my 3DUiSettings.ini file looked like this:
[Window][Debug##Default]
Pos=60,60
Size=400,400
Collapsed=0
[Window][AI Comms]
Pos=2510,1421
Size=215,246
Collapsed=0
The last Pos co-ordinate sent the menu off the bottom right of my screen. By deleting that paragraph and restarting BMS it righted itself and all is working now. My 3DUiSettings.ini currently looks like this:
[Window][Debug##Default]
Pos=60,60
Size=400,400
Collapsed=0
[Window][AI Comms]
Pos=60,60
Size=215,246
Collapsed=0
I have lost the command menu displays in the 3D world (not VR). The keys works because the commands I issue are acknowledged in the sim. Having to hope I press Q or W enough times is a bit of a lottery though.
Does anyone know how I can recover their visibility?
I’ve solved it in a roundabout way.
My process was to start WMR then Steam VR then BMS. This left me with the reported problem, ie no mouse cursor when the headset was put on.
I messed about with the config files but still no cursor in VR.
I then wondered if there was an issue with WMR and SteamVR. My WMR is for Steam and I wondered if there was a doubling up of programs. Anyway I fired up WMR and then shut down SteamVR. I went into the WMR “home” and the mouse arrow was available. I then started BMS. The Steam VR room opened with the BMS window hanging there as usual. The cursor was now available to use. Crucially it is still there in 3D.
In summary:
Start WMR. (shut down Steam VR if it opens)
Enter the WMR room, let it load and ensure the mouse cursor is there.
Start BMS
The cursor should be there.
I hope this is of help to others.
If I take my headset off to look at the 2D screen my mouse cursor is there and works. When I put the headset on I can see the dot where the cursor is but I cannot move it.
Once in the pit I have no mouse click cursor at all.
How do I restore this?
While I was hosting the last flight @Pegasus82 was in, the weather was stock issue. No FMap was used.
I did note that the only pilots out of six flying that had this problem were the two flight leads. There’s something to ponder eh?

@piano 4.35 update 3 is the latest and should be what you install. I’m surprised you said you had graphics issues. Unless you are running some old pc hardware you really shouldn’t be having any problems.

@vaicon said in Hatzerim AB Diagram - Any Updates?:
There are plans for those
just 3~4 weeks falcon time
Oh No! Falcon Weeks!!!
Re: Israel Theater - Latest IAP (Instrument Approach Procedure) charts
There has been a recent excellent update to the Ramat David AB charts but I have noticed that at least one other needs attention, that being Hatzerim.
Previous excellent charts by @neystratiou show runways 14/32 LR for this base, but in the latest 4.35 campaign (the 80’s ones) the runways are 10/28LR.
Are there any new charts out there?
We flew a MP mission last night over Kukes AB. As we approached the area all our frame rates dropped through the floor. The bandwidth was suggested as a reason but as the host my bandwidth could cater for the seven of us flying. Does anyone have any ideas?
I should note that we used real weather for the campaign (Under Seige) but this hasn’t caused an issue on any of the previous flights. We have not come across this frame rate issue before.
Wouldn’t any new theatre for 4.35 have that automatically? I would have thought (in my not teccy way) that failure to have that data could cause issues, eg CTD’s, graphical glitches.
Looking forward to trying this out. We’re currently enjoying this in 4.34. It’s going to be more of a challenge now that the ships can shoot back!
Congragulations 185th!!!
Thats really an accomplishment, especially in fast-living world like ours.Greetings from the 47th, born July 4th 99.
Well Happy 21st to the 47th too. :bdance:
On 3rd July the 185th VFS was 21 years old. On that day we flew a mission and flypast to celebrate the event, which was captured by many and compiled by Noodle.
I hope you enjoy the vid and, like us, continue to enjoy this evergreen sim.
