Bo âPoppyâ 185th Cadet Training OfficerErr excuse me there is already a post by Griffin:https://www.benchmarksims.org/forum/showthread.php?18057-List-of-Virtual-Fighter-Wings-and-Squadrons&p=287824&viewfull=1#post287824
I should point to Busters (New) or Griffin (Older)?
-
Hi Arty,
Thanks for pointing that out. Itâs fine as it is. No change needed. I can delete my post if that keeps the thread orderly.
-
No problem just tell which one to use. It can only point to one of the two.
-
This post is deleted! -
I know that this is NOT where to post this, and I apologize for doing so, but are there any ACTIVELY RECRUITING squadrons who fly USN stuff and run in any US, British, or Aussie time zones? So far I have only come across VFA-37 and they are closed right now.
Thank you, and sorry for posting here!!

No problem this thread besides being an informative list is also for clarifications on those.

FalconC2 469th VACS
As of the time of this posting, things are still not very well defined, and they will be coming along as a work in progress. If you want to help build some community standards from scratch, now is the time to get on board!
Falcon C2 http://www.falconc2.org
Home of the 469th Virtual Air Control Squadron (VACS)The purpose of this squadron is to simulate a Military Radar Unit (i.e. Human AWACS/GCI) specializing in Tactical C2 for air combat sim. FC2 is not a flying squadron (although we might fly some internal TEâs, for the purpose of supporting training for our controllers).
FC2 encourages you to join in addition to your flying squadron.
Hopefully your flying squadrons will not prevent you from joining as an associate with FC2.
We want to add to, not take away from, what the flying squadrons are already doing.Types of associate members:
1. Controllers (you want to provide human awacs/gci)
2. Associate Pilots (you want to participate in the community, standards, and eventual training but not necessarily control)Come on by and register, see you there!

Can someone please eliminate the 27th vFW off of the list.
We are closing up shop for good
Thanks in advance

Whoa up there Lawndart, where am I going to get my monthly dose of fratricide now ?
Actually weâre not far behind, but have chosen the path of cryostasis with a healthy dose of inebriation.

777th JokersWebsite: http://www.777jokers.com
Language: Spanish
Number of active pilots: 6
Timezone: UTC +1
Recruiting: NO
Contact person: Drakko
Description: The 777th Jokers is a virtual Spanish wing specializing in the flight of the Lockheed Martin F16 Fighting Falcon. we are recreating, as faithfully as possible, the actual flight procedures of such aircraft, based on the manuals and original documentation available. To do this, it uses as a platform the FALCON BMS simulator in its most up-to-date version, without discarding in the future the use of other platforms.
The entire training system of the 777th is based on methodologies, documentation and actual instruction procedures, including communications, with the logical limitations of simulation on a PC and a big experienced team with more than 12 years using Falcon 4 simulator, most of them are ex-E69 pilots maybe you know for some past activities together.
As an additional support to the activity, the wing has a web platform that includes a blog, where to keep abreast of the news related to our hobby, a social network, where to share experiences, a forum and an e-Learning platform for continuous training for our pilots. -
Recruiting is open at our wing. Info is below if you are interested in joining or go to our recruiting page. You can check out some of flights on our Youtube Channel, or look at Saturday Large Ops flights to see recent events this year. If you have a question, just send me a PM. Thx

Recruiting Status: Open - We close recruiting when IQT classes are full until IPs are available again.
New pilot required qualifications: 18 Years or older, ability to Ramp Start, willingness to learn, fluent in English
Contact person(s): Zeus, Demo, Drillin, Jammer, or Residual
Description:We are an international group of like minded individuals that push the F4:BMS simulator to the boundaries of realism for which it was intended. From our extensive training programs and coordinated events, to our relentless pursuit of becoming better BMS pilots, the 1st VFW is built for the BMS pilot looking to be challenged while still having fun doing it.
Weâve worked hard over the past 9 years to create a âclose to real lifeâ atmosphere while still vying to maintain the fun aspects of simply enjoying a simulation title among friends. As one of the most active groups in the community, we host 5 weekly flights every week at different times to accommodate members in different timezones. Like many other wings, we have active and retired real life F-16 (and other military aircraft) pilots and commercial pilots that we lean on to mirror real life operations within the limits of the simulator. If you are interested in joining the 1st VFW (we have an F/A-18 squadron too), please visit our recruiting page and post an introduction in our forum.
If any other wings want to participate in our flights/events, contact Demo or Zeus. Also, our Wednesday flights are open house to try flying with us.
See you in the skies!
