Great job guys!
Un grand merci, et un grand bravo!

Nice! And thank you for including the Polish version. Around 580 MiG-21s (in all variants) served in Polish Air Force. I wish we had as many F-16s…
Great job, gents! -
I do not beleive this may add anything to the current flight model… (that is already quite accurate in term of performance and flight enveloppe, the main criteria for a target, isn’t it )
]Hmm…I mean…this hi quality Lod model must have gear compression dof.
Landing impact feedback would be great with FM edit.bTW flying mig21 in Korea theatre is no joy, little chance to survive…but a vnam theater could be its heaven.

Concerning theaters, you’re right in KTO, Fished are mostly dead meat, my favorite would be ITO 73 (as soon as we have a correct F-4E, that will arrive soon I beleive, and a Nesher) -
Nice one, now we will need one good F-8 Crusader to hunt it

You know, it’s strange. I grew up thinking the F-13 had two guns, but from my last reading, that seems not to be the case. It seems the F did, with two cannon at 60 rounds per gun… which is not… awful. Wikipedia is telling me the F-13 with its single cannon was limited to 30 rounds! Crack shots only, I guess…

You’re right
MiG-21F iz.72 (sans-suffixe) had 2 guns with 60 rnd each
MiG-21F-13 iz.74 had 1 guns with only 30 rnd
And all the next, until MiG-21M iz.96 had no gun at all
In fact, Soviet did the same error than US here, they believed guns were useless and the F-13 was the beginning of the trend. -
Great teamwork gents!
Thank you

Perhaps the belief that there were 2 guns comes from the fact that the Chinese ultimately reverted to using two cannons on the J-7s. If Wiki is right, the J-7s sent to North Korea would have been armed with only a single gun as well:
-
First versions of the Chinese MiG-21F-13, called J-7 sans-suffix and its export version F-7A only have 1 gun, just like the soviet one.
With the next version : J-7I, the 2 guns were back (and will remain in all later ones)
North Korea received MiG-21F-13 iz74 from USSR (around 80), so with only one gun.
Wiki mention China providing late version of J-7I and note [17] url confirm that, like other J-7I, they most probably, have 2 guns. -
IIRC what I have heard, F-13 was the most pleasant Fishbed to fly (including BIS)….real sportplane.
-
My info was the “PF” was the best to fly, featuring similar maneuverability than the F-13 but a better engine and more modern layout.
-
My info is unavailable.
(Hope this helps)
