What do you listen to on long flights

Or when you’re about to raise hell? I like Led Zeppelin. It reminds me when in the military having to drive home for 11 hours in the winter in moose country, that was in the seventies , great years for music

Engine sound, RWR chirping and radio communications mainly.

Just kidding. As Lypa said is the real answer.

I fall asleep if I don’t listen to anything

then you need to make more exciting TE’s
Even during ingress - egress I have stuff todo (comms followup, whatif checks, SA building, comms with ATC/flight, checklists etc etc) -
On a long flight, with AP engaged, of course, I grab my guitar and play for myself. Never too much practising, you know… However, if there are any threats in the area, I give up my habit as I might not be able to react quickly enough.

Paul Van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren…
Nikos. -
Correct … then master circuit breaker goes off.
I made the mistake of telling my wife where the eject button is.
-
I have this on my office door whenever I start, so the kids and wife know the entire compound is then off limits

The worse you could do is teach her to use BMS. Unless you have 2 capable comps.

I always turn off music in most of my games. Racing games, even NFS, I turn off music to better hear the car engine and other sound effects. In flight simulation, it’s the same thing… no music to better hear the aircraft’s engine, radio calls, and other sound effects.
As for being off limits, it’s gotten to the point now that when I have the TrackIR on and they see me flying, MP or just practice flights, they know I’m not to be disturbed Unless the house is burning down…

I’m injured, nursing a back, post operative shitlording, but i’m Old-ing, as my grandfather said, so things regenerate less starfish, more DMV line…it’s summer and my kids are angels so they shoot(cans and tires) in the backyard and ride bikes and horses but are helping me jimmy this flight chair and what not. Yesterday, I listened to tool and alternated between watching aqua teen and twilight zone on the second monitor. I should go back into that “in the next update wishlist” thread and tell them they need to get with the dual monitor support too, but I wouldn’t want to rustle any further jimmies.
as han solo said, it’s the mileage that counts, kid…
Old TV, like columbo, some star trek, maybe some outer limits…I was watching fawlty towers yesterday too. As a Musician, it distracts the shit out of me, and is fixating. I fly with more relaxed people who have a lot of experience, aren’t going to shit on your for fragging yourself or going around, checking to the wrong alpha after a touch and go etc etc etc. we are not a virtual military, we are hobbyists who like to fly virtual jets in high fidelity and blow shit up. If we fence, and we disperse to shit on something, we all have open mics, because IVC is redundant, so you’ll hear a little ween, sometimes classical, my mate that plays from england likes to ccip to the ****ing matrix soundtrack.
I was flying around ostee listening to Bjork, it made me want an australian theater and to listen to nick cave, or the score to jessie james in the nevada theater (in 3 to 4 weeks or so of course)
Music for me, is very distracting, it’s easier to kill time on the stick…I’m getting fat as shit, fat body, gotdamnit pile, playing nothing but arma and recovering from back surgery, had a pinched nerve for about oh 16 years they finally figured out they should ought to aim to move the segment of my spine that was hiding behind my lung (true story), so there is that.I usually end up snacking on auto pilot to be brutally honest. I’ve gained like 7 lbs since I’ve been laid up, which sucks balls and I’m olding like I said so I’m trying to hang a heavy bag today, I’ll probably listen to KRAUSE about using the FLIR, I just edited the flight model of the f-117a to operate like what the man on youtube said he saw after he smoked all the crack and the men in black showed up. No but in all honesty, I’m going to try to get the flir repeater working in that thing and run some low level night sead for shits and giggles, I’ll probably watch clockwork orange.
