Nikos. -
Thank you, I hope they become real soon, as one of the contenders for the new multi-role fighter tender is brand new F-16V block 70/72.

the ac skins look great.
i start a new cam and find BuAF su-25 play a key role against RED GUs!

Hi everyone! Been a lurker for quite a while. Watching, reading, drooling over BMS. I’ve been playing Allied Force for a while, but never tried BMS as my machine is older. I looked over the specs recently and saw my machine IS capable-ish, so I installed it. It’s awesome!
I was so frustrated with AAR in Allied Force…it’s so shaky and nearly impossible to accomplish it, so my first flight with BMS was the AAR training mission (or an AAR mission I built, can’t remember which, but my first flight). Got hooked up, and wanted to share my joy!!!
I have a basic joystick - Logitec Extreme 3D Pro, and it’s REALLY touchy. Someday I’ll buy a new system and HOTAS setup. For now, I’ll spend my time with my glitchy, freezing system learning BMS so I’ll, hopefully, be plug-n-play with you all some day.

This shaky AAR behavior was exactly the same in old Falcon versions,
… until one of the talented BMS coders took care of it.For your glitchy, freezing system try cleaning all fans,
maybe even open the case if the freezes are result of
temperatur/ cooling problems.Cheers, :yo:

LSThose talented souls are amazing- the smoothness makes AAR sooo much better!
I popped the case on my computer. I’m not a computer-junky, so periodic cleaning is definitely not on my radar. There was a lot of dust and dust balls! (Kinda glad this thing didn’t catch on fire!) I blew it all out, so we’ll see how it does. It’s an old machine though… it’s only got a GTX 560 SE. :embarassed: Ran Battlefield great though in its day!

“…It’s an old machine though… it’s only got a GTX 560 SE. :embarassed: Ran Battlefield great though in its day!” As it was, it would be good to change the thermally conductive paste under the processor and in the GTX 560 SE:wfish::dhorse::rofl:

Good idea! I’ll see if I can grab my buddy from work to do that for me. He’s into building computers.

Yea, that’s like telling someone to replace the oil pan gasket on their car…. unless it’s leaking, leave it in place - it’s likely doing it’s job just great and will continue to do so for some time to come.
Don’t go wasting your time replacing the thermal paste on your CPU or GFX card, especially if you are not having any issues with overheating. Get a temp monitor (I recommend AIDA64), keep an eye on things over time (nothing spiking over 90 C), but don’t go wasting time or money on tasks that will have no immediate benefit to your PC gaming experience. A CPU cooler is easy enough to take out even for a novice, but GFX cards have all kinds of unique fan and heat pipe layouts that are not always easily serviceable, and have parts that could potentially break if you are not careful, and they don’t sell replacement parts for GFX cards - one slip and it’s a brick.
If you do go down this route, educate yourself (or be sure your friend is), and be sure any old thermal paste is fully cleaned and removed, the new surfaces properly prepped with a tinting of thermal paste, and the correct amount of thermal paste is applied before the two surfaces are squished together again.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

Rabbit, Suit and I on our way to Belgrade in Lorik’s epic Baba Yaga campaign. We’re at noon, day 3 and we’re on our way to destroy whatever is left of Nikola Tesla airport, the last semi-operational airbase.
We figured this was our final campaign mission so we posed for a picture before pounding the snot out of the enemy. Upon our return we were greeted with a campaign victory!
However, our party in the O’Club got rudely interrupted by flash deployment orders to Israel……
