Falcon BMS 4.34 Changes you noticed.
-
All of the changes I’ve seen so far are very good. Except for 3 things which relate to graphics, where I think 4.33 was actually better. IMO it would be better if these were left alone.
1 The new Hornet skins look very plain and kind of half finished, old ones better IMO.
2 US carrier deck is lower res and doesn’t look good, old one better.
3 Overcast weather now has spinning clouds in the extreme and on top is all just white. The old overcast had interesting detail and texture on top, old one better IMO.
So for me it is a bit 2 steps forward 1 step back. -
(I suppose he meant a “clone”… don’t you guys start a war on this )
Dam …. yeah right: “clone” … it is that funking Gougoule auto correction so fart…

You may like this my mess around pilot is named Fartner callsign Bogman…

You are not authorized to play
There is so much they haven’t noticed yet, but it’s more fun to let people have the joy of finding things out for themselves
I have been quite impressed with some detailed observations though :thumb:
Ducking in and out of clouds to defeat IR trackers is fun (unless it’s your target doing it), think about engine IR management as well

Same here! It was rather unexpected to me and is a very good and motivating surprise!
Thumb up to the whole community!

-nose wheel sticks in a direction when breaking in a turn.
-ATC yells at me when i disobey, again. Been years.
-chin mounted sensors affect flight characteristics.
-enemy planes attempt to outrun my slammers. Surprising to see a Mig-21 succeed at Rtr.
-couldn’t talk to flight after hit with manpad. Lost electrical power and UFC. Wrong frequency. :3
-TGP head moves as it tracks targets.
-
I noticed the 6th campaign is an exercise instead of a war! major thanks for that (was on my bucket list since forever ^^)
So to everybody involved for this AMAZING release! Absolutely love where you are taking this.
THANKS!!!

Normal. Needs a slight motion to steer the nose wheel. There are “not enough” power in actuator to move the wheel when a/c is stopped.

allow me to disagree on that one
YEs cloud rotating is painful,i would like to have a better result
but
-
If you fly regularly (in RL) above a overcast layer, this is nearly all the time totally white up there ( i can try to improve some contrasts though )
-
Old texture was totally faked, the “holes” in between the clouds were not real, you couldnt dive in them. Now a hole is a hole, you can for real dive in it and keep visual contact with ground
-
same when going up, you can see the blue of the sky while you climb
-
When you are flying at the EDGE of the top surface of the layer, it is much more realistic since it has volume, it was a flat texture before
-
Layer crossing is much more realistic, not only by the visual but also when you need to keep contact with wingmen. No more “surface” crossing and weirdo black blincking into the layer
-
contrasts and clouds colors are much better when under layer , not to mention thunderstrikes flashed in clouds , which was not possible before
-
the old layer had not interaction with sensors
-
transition from cell to cell is now possible, before you could see a very ugly flat texture above the adjacent cell
YES the best would be to find a way to stop clouds to rotate
at the end, we are of the opinion that there are more pros than cons compared to old system

I have one issue with the graphics. They are a lot prettier overall, but the clouds seem to be everywhere now and they are VERY white, which makes the HUD display invisible. Perhaps that is realistic, I am not sure. In any case, I am mostly relying on HMCS for HUD information now.

yep, next time you take a liner, try to open your window on overcast layer , (dont forget your sunglasses though)
that’s why as in real we have had to code the VISOR use it

ALT+V. Thank me later

It retrieves some information from the other aircraft and then extrapolates its position for the next 8 seconds.
Must go through each of the seven aircraft one by one which takes some time.
After 8 seconds, that AC is gone until the next update which can be several seconds later.
I assume it’s more realistic… (?) In that case, good. More difficult.About that : it does work like that. To be perfectly exact, the symbol is always extrapolated 8s. Before, every aircraft answered at the same time and CONT rounds were asked every 8s so you didn’t see any symbol disappearing. IRL, each aircraft answers sequentially, if only to avoid jamming each other The CONT round delay of 8s is applied between the last reply and the new round.

The bold text part is worth anything to me.

Sun visor

This post is deleted! -
This is a question rather than an observation but i want to avoid spamming the general discussion with my questions. So, in the avionics configuration-colours, what does the MFD_HARM_HANDOFF_EMMITER change?
-

Is it possible to get the visor to work in the snap- and/or custom views?
-
Love the visor. A gold tint option would be sweet as well and /or gold tint canopy
-
-dont know if it was like that in 4.33, but aim-9 seaker will lock on gun rounds (edit: not sure)
- dont know either if its a placebo effect, but there seems to more turbulances, and I love that. Makes the flight way more dynamic
