I think youāre referring to 4.34 with the 4.33 āworkaroundā, yes?

Correct

Unfortunately. only in this option works with all functions.

Hi,
I have the following problem. In the Client Tab I can open and edit the āyameā window on my primary Display without problems. If I move the window to anothzer display, save the position and want to āedit gaugesā again, Yame freezes and I have to quit.
I use multiple Displays on internal Intel GPU and an Nvidia external RTX 2800. I have tried to run the program as administrator and all compatibility modesā¦In monitor setup I have tried different monitor positions.
Any advice?

Dear Santa, all I want for Christmas is YAME v2.
Santa brought me coal  so I broke down and purchased a new hard drive, with enough room for copies of both 4.33 and 4.34. Iāve reinstalled Windows 7 (64 bit) and now at this point, Iām just trying to get YAME v1.2.1 up and running with 4.33 before installing 4.34. When I try to open YAME64 Iām receiving a message that say āUnable to create a default configuration fileā. Iām sure itās something Iāve missed but Iām stuck at the moment. I did first install the Visual C++ Redistributable, although what Microsoft offers now is a version called 2015-2018, but I doubt thatās the issue.

Try installing it somewhere else then the program files folder; or select the yame folder, right click for properties and see if the main folder and all subfolders are not āprotectedā. Also try running the exe as administrator.

Thank you Fd! Running as administrator did the trick! Iāve never figured out why that is necessary at times, when Iām the only Windows āaccountā and I already have administrator privileges. Ah well, the important thing is Iām off and running again!

Some info about my experience with YAME, maybe usefull for those with similar problems.
I was a happy YAME user. Have several PCs with BMS and YAME working like a charm (localy and networked).
On my newest rig, suddenly it stopped working: Once I pressed Start YAME client, it was unable to create the window, and so it never displayed any instrument. I was using 3 screens as a sinlge 1 using NVIDIA Surround, and an additional monitor for YAME (all under my GT2080).
It never mattered how and where I put that screen (left of main, under main, right of main), it crashed YAME.
If I used Main screen, it worked perfectly (but then it was over BMS 3D screen, soā¦ no way).
As IĀ“m really stubborn, yesterday I tried the following and it worked:
1-My YAME window is 1920x1080. I define YAME window on -1920 and 0 coordinates (left of main screen)
2-I set up my secondary screen under my main screen (in my case is 0 and 2160) just below the main screen. (you just do this using the usual windows screen configuration)
3-I launch YAME. This time It works, but as expected, it doesnĀ“t display anything as the coordinates of the monitor are not the ones for the YAME window.
4-I change again the secondary screen position to left of Main screen (thus matching the ones for YAME window)
5-And voila, YAME shows up on the sceen!!Its a silly procedure, but it is the only way I could find to make it work!
Hope this could help other users.
Thanks for your wonderfull software, and keep it up!
