probably very small typo:
BMS-Comms-Nav-book.pdf - 5.2 Starting engine - page 125
“When you enter .125 decimals in the F-16 radios only .22 is displayed.”
I think it should say “… only .12 is displayed.”
Thanx Red Dog for your docu

dash-1 canopy - location of the hotspot is wrong in manualDon’t bother to fix that one, it will change in the future version (not future patch/update).

page 123, preset 9 is not ALT ground, it is preset 12.

this is not an error but a suggestion.
in BMS-training.pdf, page 146 147, u put a lot words on STPT selection. but that is a very easy concept i can understand in just 3 sentences. u don’t need 2 pages to explain it.
but in page 151, only one sentence “Should you need to pickle before reaching the top of the LAR, the bomb will fly straight to the target and ignore the impact azimuth” talk about impact azimuth limitation.
and base on my tests, azimuth only work with 60 deg offset.
e.g. i fly heading 090, the azimuth must be set in 30-150, otherwise it dosn’t work. but the manual (and other pdf) put no word on this. -

“That way even if you lose some systems prior to landing you have an easy way to ask for help or declare an emergency. Set already your UHF BUP to 365.0 and put it in MNL mode.”
UHF BUP should be UHF Backup?

The steerpoint diamond may still be on the steerpoint but the tadpole may be pointing to the SPI in NAV mode for instance.
Seems to me it should be:

BMS 4.34, Technical Manual, Multiplayer section 13.7 page 13-153 or page 13-155:
Not sure if already reported here, but I didn’t see the option “g_bStrictFogOfWar” in the option list.
I think this is now “MP Host controlled”, if so, must be included in the 13.7 - Multiplayer section, page 13-153._set g_bStrictFogOfWar 1 // Forces the map and OOB to honor the unit spotted/identified status more rigorously

set g_nTacPeriodicSaveMinutes 0 // TE time in minutes between automatic cyclic game saves, 0 = disabled

Hey All:
Let me first admit my head swims when trying to absorb this new IFF stuff. Even so, I think I got the basics as I am able to ramp start the F16 (easy peesy) and the sweet F15E (a bit tricksy) and have IFF working as expected.
This has been brought up before and I saw that Red Dog thumb upped the report. But I wanted to offer how I thought the paragraph in question might work, plus some additional considerations if I got this stuff in my head correctly:
-1 pg 51:
“The IFF MASTER switch turns on the IFF and changes its mode of operation (OFF, STBY, LOW, NORM, EMER) With the C&I switch in C&I all IFF settings are changed through the UFC (Up Front Controller) pages.”
Shouldn’t that be something like:
“The IFF MASTER switch turns on the IFF and changes its mode of operation (OFF, STBY, LOW, NORM, EMER). All the other IFF settings are changed via the UFC (Up Front Controller) pages when the C&I switch is in the UFC position.”
And also it seems to me if the AUX COMM panel has been replaced by the IFF Panel then the keymaps should reflect this? So instead of “AUX: MASTER Knob - Step Up” wouldn’t it be better if it was “IFF: MASTER Knob - Step Up”?
And finally, I think the keyboard layouts should also include IFF in the description when appropriate (i.e. [Shift]+[Ctrl]+[F8] is presently “Master Up” where I think it would be better if it was labeled “IFF Master Up”).
I hope I’m making sense? Anyway, tons of thanks to Red Dog and everyone for their efforts on the sim and especially the implementation of IFF. I LOVE IT!!!

Training Manual, page 79:
“You can proceed low level to STPT 14 or further, or you can move to the LGB Training Mission that will start at IP1 (STPT 6) of this flight.”
I thought this meant that I could start with the TFR training mission 8 and finish with LGB training mission 11, just as I can do missions 1-3 together. However, LGB training is far west of the TFR stuff and the flight plans don’t match… Is this sentence left over from an earlier version?

Falcon BMS Manual Chapter 3.2.4 “Launching BMS 4.34”:
First select either the 32 bit or 64 bit version in the top right corner. The selected one will appear in green.
There is no 32 Bit version since BMS 4.34 anymore.

Training Manual Pg. 157:
“When the caret is at 3 o’clock, aspect is 90°R.”
Wouldn’t it be 90°L? Or am I understanding aspect incorrectly?

When the caret is at 3 o’clock, aspect is 90°R because ownship would be somewhere on the line separating the upper right quadrant and lower right quadrant.
Here’s a picture of Aspect Angle 80°L. Notice the TLL points to the right and the FCR shows the target heading westerly, showing his left side to you. Aspect is your position on the bandit’s left or right side.
