Linux compatibility for BMS 4.34. Previous versions of BMS ran very well on linux, faster than on MS Windows. When BMS 4.34 is run on linux, it crashes when ATC gives spoken instructions over audio. This could be fixed by providing a text option, where instead of generating spoken words, ATC would send text subtitles to the screen.
Have you tried disabling ATC / ATIS using the falcon bms.cfg switch?
All the best, Uwe

Why is there still no twin suspension for AMRAAM 120 missiles? I would like it to work. thanks

Because it is high drag.

I don’t know for f16 if there is such pylon for amraam or howoften they use it, but your picture is from f 18
. Watch the first seconds. This is identical to your picture -

Never seen such a thing on F-16s outside of the computer generated triple rack for the Block 70/72.
-
Some countries are purchasing or upgrading to the block 7x / V standard, next couple of years we will find out if and who will purchase this rack too.
-
For the Hornet, that’s actually an assembly of three racks - a LAU-115 with two LAU-127s bolted to it (I think the USAF uses a LAU-128, the USN uses the -127) and suspended from the BRU-32 on the pylon. The LAU-115 will mate to any BRU with 32 inch hook suspension. The assembly is referred to as a “monster rack”, or just “monster”. You can also mount certain eject released stores to the bottom of a LAU-115; but no triple mounting.
There is another adapter (ADU-something…) that can also replace the BRU-32 and allow a single LAU-127 to be bolted directly to the pylon for single carriage - no idea if the USAF uses these or not.

SDB 53 on F-16 like in RL

They are or were already in…… try the Singapore F-16D+
Would be good if there is a non conformal fuel tank version of the F-16D+ though. Currently there is only one version present with conformal fuel tanks, though Singapore doesn’t always fly with them.

Thanks for your suggestion. Does campaign still work if ATC is disabled?

Quality of life thing:
Ability to see people’s time compression in the chat window in 2D.When trying to push to 3D, you may need to advance time a bit, and it can be quite annoying if you’re 5+ people and one either doesn’t do it, or it doesn’t sync properly or whatever, and host has to ask everyone individually to check and verify his setting.

Just a question of curiosity: Is it possible the simulate GPS disruption of EW? I mean, GPS/INS guided munitions can miss their targets becuase of enemy EW unit? This topic becoming more popular. What are your thoughts about that?

Just a thought: Put yourselves on the shoes of Boxer, Dunc, MavJp, Raptor, Cruz, D-Jay, Radium, I-Hawk, Falcas, and many other I don´t know, just for a few seconds. Imagine you have put hundreds of hours on coding and testing to develop what you guys have in your HD right now. Then come to this forum and read a thread, 4 days after the release, of people “wanting” more. Are you serious?
You probably don´t have a lot fo experience developing a serious software of the magnitude of Falcon, so it is difficult to judge the ammount of work, know how, and time ans stress(!) to make such a software the way it is. What these guys achieved in this last version cannot be described in few words….I am still speechless!..Falcon 4 BMS is >>still<<, after 20 years, the top dog in hardcore simulation. And just because these guys put their free time to make it possible!
Perhaps you guys can wait 3-4 weeks to start asking for new things…I am out, back to the virtual skies!
I agree.

Everything is possible if you’re a mad scientist…

Do note that while GPS can be jammed, INS can’t. Now, I’m not sure how exactly JDAMs handle that, but it’s quite possible that jamming GPS alone won’t be enough if the launch aircraft had corrected its INS a few minutes ago and still has a pretty accurate fix out of that. That’s why it’s GPS/INS guidance, not GPS only.

Frag order per airbase instead of per squadron

Some kind of sidelobe modeling for HARMS, or at least the possibility for them (with PET shots) to hit a SAM that is engaging another aircraft but has not been detected yet by ownship RWR/HAD

You can do that already. If it’s shooting its radar is on which means you can kill it.
