News from the frontline, 4.37.3 delayed (and explained)
-
@Seifer
That’s awesome news Seifer. No need to feel guilty, 3 month slip of release date in such circumstances is like nothing. I’d bet many dev teams would be glad if they were doing as good as you guys.
BTW is seems my race to build BMS capable rig before U3 release gonna be exciting till the very end. I’m placing some orders next weekend … -
Yep seems like it’s only been 3-4 Falcon-weeks… pretty sure it’s still on track for “Falcon September”.
-
No need to be sorry about anything seifer. RL always have the highest priority, and most people in here understand that this is done in your spare time and we get the benefit of the work made by you and the rest of the DEV team for free. The entire team have my upmost respect for the continues updates and finetuning you are able to add.
-
Hear hear!!
-
@Seifer First of all, wish that you and your loved ones are well, and that those personal problems are resolved and it is nothing serious.
Also thank you for your work and that of all the devs on this project, the F16 has been in development for decades, it is impossible for the F15 to be finished in this record time. There is no need to apologize for some perfectly logical delays.
Thanks for everything guys.

This is on me, I planned the schedule, I failed there.
No problem, Mate, you’ll provide some sneak peek 4.37.3 screenshot of F-15 pit and we are square
-
@sunrrrise show some patience man, you’ll see it with your own eyes in 3-4 weeks
Nagging the devs may jinx it. -

@Seifer, I am 67 years old, I have a background as an architect, I have three bypasses, I have had cancer surgery, and I bought Falcon 4.0 in 1998. Since then I have followed the entire path that led this spectacular simulator to the latest BMS version. I think there hasn’t been a single period in which I haven’t expressed a thought of gratitude to all the passionate friends who have accompanied me up until today, to the latest version. So @Seifer don’t apologize, on the contrary… accept my thanks for all the hours of fun that the passion of so many has given me. Thank you. (sorry but I use google translate)
-
3-4 Falcon weeks is all cool, perfection take a long ask any diamond.
Regards to all the Team. -
@Seifer there is no failure to deliver…
We deliver when the time is right. Conditions were not reunited until now…
We still have a couple things to polish before release but we should be ready soon.
-
I see only success everywhere I look.
-
@Seifer Great communication, glad to hear progress is moving along. Very much looking forward to the polished product. Can definitely wait a couple more weeks for a FREE labour of love.
-
Many thanks for the update.
Very excited to see the new .bml format in action. -
@sunrrrise Here’s another shot from U3. Eagles dancing in the evening sun.

@Mav-jp Side-slip indicator and cage/uncage of backup ADI ? And obligatory mention of A model avionics /me run and hides.
Just kiddin, exactly what rubbra said. Also IMHO Viper in BMS is already in great shape at least for normal flight conditions. If there was something I could wish for are more emergencies + pilot induced faults (TGP overspeed/over-g’id, electrics fails, non-fatal engine faults: reduced thrust, AB fail, sensors degradation etc … ) .
Maybe some more differences between older and newer blocks capabilities: like Lantrin vs Sniper TGP , lack of GPS on early models …Oh, so your idea of fun is make my life miserarble…

Lol, on a clear day over my beautiful English village, I might see these dogfighting far above my house or close to it. As usual, I can only hear them but don’t usually get to find them. I believe they are stationed at RAF Lakenheath.
To all that has made Falcon 4 into Falcon BMS, I thank you for your skills, patience and dedication to perfection. Thank you. -
