Santa's wishlist for BMS

@VDK +1 on that esp proper F-16A with pit and avionics.
Onto something a bit easier, Vitual Crew Chief integrated into BMS and since u4 is supposed to provide OpenXR - handtracking, with simple gestures: left/right click, turn clock/counterclock-wise.
-
I would like to see the ability to change the color of labels and flight path in the 2D map.
-
I would love to have an “Touch and go request” option in the Tower comms menu
-
I’d like to be abused by ATC before touchdown, having had a brain-melt and going final on the wrong heading/runway.
-
Any and all ATC improvements / expansion get my vote.
BMS had led the way for many a year in this department and it would be good to retain that crown.

Few days ago I was thinking about sim scoring negative points to the logbook for blatant flight safety violations. If anyones total career point would reach given level of negative points pilots account would be permanently disabled.
In general better pilot performance rating system would be nice, where score is given taking mission type into account. My pilot who had tailstrikes on landing twice: nervous breathing

I would like to have APKWS. Since the AGM-65L and AGM-123 are already modelled, it can’t be too hard to implement another laser-guided rocket, right?
-
Oh, and I would like to get a notification from AWACS if there’s major news (i.e. another faction joins the war) while I’m flying. If I’m on a mission really far north, I’d like to be informed that I need to GTFO immediately because China is now my enemy BEFORE I get shot at by a J-11 or Su-30.
I mean, it would be realistic, wouldn’t it? AWACS announcing to everyone that we have another enemy or that DPRK surrendered and everyone can go home.
Happened to me today. The thing that actually killed me was an SA-2 that I wasn’t aware of before it shot at me (it didn’t show up on the automatic threat circles on the 2D map before the flight), but I wouldn’t have made it out anyway. I had only one AMRAAM left and two Su-30s were chasing me.
On a side-note: Has the SA-2 been buffed in recent updates? I pulled quite some Gs and it hit me anyway.
-
Talking about AWACS, I’d like for them to keep me updated with relevant changes and addition to the pictures instead of me just requesting info. Like check in and that gives you rolling up dates. Checkout takes you back to request based flow.

In the 2D Briefing environment for both the Weapons selection and the Recon screens - allow panning, rotating and zoom in/out using the mouse/mouse wheel directly on the image (Aircraft in the case of the arming page and the target area in the case on the recon page).

ATC adds new options
tower item:
touch and go
low approach
SFO (landing, touch and go, low approach)
military thrust take off
military thrust formation take off (with AI wingman)wingman item:
gear down
gear up -
-
use for formation take off and runway low pass

Why “gear up/down”?
-
when formation take off leader and wingman landing gear up must at same.
ATC tower options now have a formation landing item, I know this item use for human pilot not AI pilot.
if this item can use AI pilot,we need gear down item to control at same timing of down the landing gear.
gear up / down also use for formation low approach or runway low pass.
these are my ideas. -

Considering the future new terrain:
Being able to fly under bridges.
More love to the A-10, since flying low will look better than ever -
@Dee-Jay yep, this. So basically we need head and hand tracking for VR for these and the other formation signals I must admit I have a tendency to do the head nod and kiss off at least

Nope. AIs can do without.

@Dee-Jay
Yes, you are right. But in bms, the only way to tell the wingman what to do is by using the radio menu.
