Dark Charts for BMS
by RalloHi everyone,
coming from civilian flight simulators charts are an important resource I am accustomed to use.
Due to my work I only fly during night hours therefore happens to me that my eyes feel funny when I keep laying them on the bright white of the charts when everything is dark around me.
I tried to have a look on the internet but it seems no one thought about making dark charts for BMS, so here I am.Hope these will make your eyes feel better at night.
Supported Theatres:
- Korea (charts as of 22 Jan 2024);
- Balkans (charts as of 22 Jan 2024);
- Israel (charts as of 22 Jan 2024);
- EMF (charts as of 22 Jan 2024);
Versions:
- The original charts have a really high resolution, maybe even too high than we really need, so I provided also a half resolution (half-res) of the same charts.
If you would like to use another theatre please contact me sending a link containing the download of the docs folder of the theatre. I’ll try my best to make them for you.

It is easier on the eyes. For as long as I started using computers, all of my computer settings for the O.S. and any other software have a dark background setting if I can edit it. I think that a ‘white background’ default is a deeply conditioned aspect of growing up with white background paper.
The disadvantage of this ‘contrast reversal’ is that if you want to physically print such a document, it would be resource-intensive on the ink because, again, most physical paper is white or light-colored.

Hi @SoBad that is right with no doubt. These are good for the pilot model or any other device placed next to the computer monitor like I have.

Good job , Thank you .!!

WOW! These are awesome. Very nice for people with bad eyes and brightness problems. Thanks for your effort.

Good idea and valuable addition. Also use “dark” mode on my mobile for the same reason.

Nice!
