Mission Commander beta release

Yep… exactly , only for land. - well, that what I said “everything” really meant , battalions and brigades only
Since squadrons are not our problem, and their aobj must be set as their home, we don’t care about them. There is no sense to zeroize their aobj.
hmmm Taskforces… now, I haven’t really thought about that, and I’m not sure even of their aobj, if existing and set, have some “real” impact/meaning. Does moving (on sea) Taskforces really have their aobj set? … maybe the ones locked to the ports … “anchored” to objective
So… don’t bother yourself with them… if you think it is a waste of time.
… I’ll be around.
Thank you.

Hey Falcas,
Just installed MC 5.16.563 on new W10 rig and upon opening MC am getting unhandled exception based on not being allowed to access the ObjectsCountry.txt file. Any workaround or fix I need to do that is known?
Thanks

DukeWhere did you extract the MC files? Does your system block files in that place?

Changelog in the first post.
Enjoy,
FalcasYahoo… that’s the way to do it … TYVM!!! aobj = NONE(0) !!!
One question tho, unrelated… IF/IS there a way to change “Divison Type” once after creation (so, edit) … I never needed it before … but now I see I’ve created some “stupid” structures … like, armoured and scud artillery brigades inside Airdefence division … so… yeah
What I can is create new eg. “Artillery divison” and transfer/move those “orphans” into that newly created… so…
But, what really interests me … is there a point , other then “correctness” of naming … so, would different divison type impact GTM div/brig/batt calcs in some way … else, cosmetic only…
Thank you again Falcas…

MC Version 0.5.17.607, 05 May 2021
This is at the start of the Tiger Spirit Campaign. Saved at sitting on runway.
If I bypass the caution, the program enters the state of “Not responding”. What could be the reason for this? -
^^ It’s hard to say without testing, but … first thing that caught my eye is that your BMS installation is on “C:” drive … so… MC would need admin privileges to access and write to that directory … it is a long shot but try running MC as Administrator… so we’ll see.
Cheers
—aah . wait, you said saved when “sitting on runway” ?? , so you saved that savegame state in 3D world? … I never tried that … since “old school” behavior is save only when on 2D map
… there must be also “autosave.cam” in that directory, try opening that …, or even save1/2/3/4/ etc (.cam) … but DON’T edit (save) in those files… just try opening them.

I tried everything you said but nothing worked. But it did lead me to look at the MC menu
Under “Extra” is “Re-load Database”. That fixed things. Thanks for leading me there. -
Yeah man. no problem. … but still curious… there shouldn’t be need for that , Re-load database , that is really handy function when editing campaign and database on-the-fly , so instead re-opening everything , just re-load edited db.
For normal MC operation , re-loading database is not needed. … something is still fishy… but if it works fine … OK then.
Cheers

Really, Falcas… old bugger . Happy Birthday. :caked:

Hi Falcas.
You can add to the option “objectives quick setting” the ability to set some flags. For example, the artillery flag for HARTs.

Try copying the file from WeaponDeliveryPlanner package?
