So what is up next after the F-16I? I can’t wait!
I’m now working on a new ITER (triple ejector rack) for the LV3’s. After that back to the F-16’s -> A non CFT F-16I and then on to the block 40/50 D’s. After that the BM’s…

Wrong dat file. Use the one that came with the package… Check if other theater (if used ) comes with its own sim/acdata folder.

OK!,
now we got even more problems lol
No JDAM or SPICE options in the DED (Special for the sufa as i know it)Seems like the CFT is empty at max capacity, insted of 8800 lbs its shows 7200 lbs like normal F-16
moreover, in the F16I the Sec buttom function as “list” buttom and the “SAK” directing the DED to the DL menu. it changed here.
Last thing is the RWR, which turned to be totally black, and it wasnt like that before.
I thought that your moduling touching only the outside of the jet, do you change things inside as well ?

I wasn’t aware that the dat files could change avionics? Having said that I don’t know the editor tool well enough to know where the changes save to. Besides, I thought avionics and ded functionality was code based?

Well one moment everthing was pretty ok (The laser wasnt calibrated and the gears didnt lock down - cuz of the new module) and after switching Dat files, the “sufa” just stoped being a “sufa” and became like a normal F-16 instead.
At other theaters it works fine (in which i didnt install the module)
Edit:
I managed to change back some of the "Sufa"s features through manualy editing the Dat file, but I’m not sure what else is missing.
for now i fixed the DED/RWR/ICP functionality and maybe the amount of Chaff and flare, but the fuel capacity hasnt repaired. Moreover, i saw that Jan didnt use the original file of the sufa, but the F16 Block 50 (instead of the customed Block 52+CFT that “F-16I+CFT” uses). I’ll be very glad if Jan could edit the correct file himself, for more realistic experience in this fighter

Dat file contains some values which may affect avionics code yes. FWIW the entire avionics configurator setup is affecting avionics by changing values in dat files.
Some of the issues mentioned here:
No SPICE/JDAM pages on DED
Wrong ICP functionalityAre indeed related to .dat file changes. Basically these can be fixed by using the avionics configurator.

The issue with the fuel/ fm & afm dat files have been corrected. V3 can be downloaded via my website.
UPDATE: AFM also was wrong. It’s fixed with update 3.

I don’t know if you have already seen this or if it is only on my side but after installing the model and the wing model for the cockpit, on the right side, there is a piece of the external model sticking through the cockpit.
In addition, the two things on the front aren’t attached to the fuselage.
-
They must be attached just the texture isn’t visible there. It must be a model ptype issue that enables transparency for that area.

Probably is this :
Now why it dont show attached… i dont know… Sometimes in other games as well and in falcon looking angles shows weird results. It might be not a model problem but maybe it is… -

Fixed. I forgot the nose of wingmodel is not the same as the outside models. v4 of the package is available via my website.

Nice Jan.

How do I install this? Do I need to use the LOD editor for this or can I just copy/paste the files?
-
You need the LODEditor. Check the files in the mod to see how you have to install it and what you need.
-
Jan,
Could you please make it a NON LOD EDITOR install - just for the numpties amongst us.

Mate that´s not possible. Not related to Jan either. BMS DB and LoD are not directly accessible trough BMS folders. And each and everyone of us have different DB files based on theaters, self made modifications, etc, etc.
I will have to use LoDEditor. C´mon its easy ( the basic stuff at least), and Jan is a great guy explaining every step of the way.
All F-16 LoD and weapons, pylons and tanks can be done to a specific TO in just 30/45 mins easy -
just to report, found a small issue in 2738 .dds which it used in koreaobjhires by netherland f16 (nose part)

It’s a know issue. 2738 is the LV3 MLU afterburner/engine skin and used by a lot the LV3 F-16AM models. But if people install LV3 MLU’s but not replace the stock F-16AM RNLAF model that stock RNLAF MLU model will have an issue with the top skin. The fix for this is already part of the .34 compatible models.
