Is the SA 15 working as it should?
In 4.3.7 I have been shot down several times at more than 21K feets (height confirmed by radar altimeter) by a SA15, is this normal? What is the maximum ceiling?
Also in the RWR, the symbol 15 is replaced by M but there is no launch. -

instead of increasing the full screen resolution which negatively affects performance, wouldn’t it make more sense to render the MDFs in a different buffer/texture using high resolution and use it as texture on each mdf?

BMS U5 is working no problem in 64 bits
if updating to newest drivers from Nvidia crashed the sim, the problem lies in Nvidia, not Benchmarksims

Sure maybe.
On those you refer to, do they sell them? like DCS does?Small and big companies (even Electronic Arts). Basically Early Access guarantees a target or minimum income and then, depending on demand you could increase or decrease quality/number of features threshold. It’s a way of insurance the production.
In the old good days, nobody used this because productions cost was relatively cheaps (two programmers and three artists could make a great game) but today the industry is very different, see the average development budget. So now if you want to make a game, you’ll need to have a very deep pocket (usually selling your soul to a producer) or allow the fans to support your project. There are a third option, loot boxes, but it is more gambling than gaming IMO. -

DCS obviously had issues, serious issues unless they wouldn’t start with those open alpha and pre releases.
I think you are wrong here, almost every company in video games is doing open alpha, pre-release, early access and not because they have problems.

The problem is caused by the last windows update, in my case, I run the game in windows mode to fix the problem (I run it on VR so I don’t care fo the monitor).

RE: Virtual Reality (VR) and BMS.
- I am using OpenTrack with my Samsung Odyssey and I don’t see any wonky angles. It is very important to changes the filter parameters, the default config adds a lot of lag.
- I don’t use SBS images, just Virtual Desktop with the native resolution of Odyssey display * 1.5 and the Headlock option enabled. I tried to use tridef to add stereoscopy effects but looks like fake 3d movies (I hate that effect) and drops the performance a ~30%, the Power 3d doesn’t work at all.
- Because I don’t use 3d/SBS, I don’t have problems here.
- Again no 3d/sbs, no problems.
- Yes the 2D interface is a shit in flat monitor aswell.
In short, I’m playing at 90 fps with good image quality (1.5 pixels density) and a similar experience to the one you can have in DCS. The image is not real 3d (for that we would need the images of 2 separate cameras the same amount as our IPD) but after a couple of minutes your brain doesn’t notice the differences.

I would like to have comms menu and in games the messages/subtitles in the center of the screen instead of centered to the left/right of the screen. I’m playing with a VR HMD and it’s impossible to read anything in the simulator. It must be similar to the menu shown on the Pres esc key.
