RE: Warthog Dial
If anyone wants to print it by himself:
Description and STL files can be found here https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/212255-f18-radar-elevation/Concerning connection, I would hook it up with either MMJoy2 or FreeJoy:

https://github.com/FreeJoy-Team/FreeJoy…this with the benefit of having the possibility to hook up some more switches and buttons.

RE: Anyone have their own Arduino based panels and boxes?
I was just wondering if there are others that also use it as i want some help with certain ideas for a project i am going to start.
Surely I’m also interested in anything new or creative which helps with interfacing, pit-building, etc.
What ideas do you have in mind? -
RE: Anyone have their own Arduino based panels and boxes?
I would like to get some coding help if there are i have a new project that i am going to start but definitely need help code wise. I already made a bunch of panels that i am using and working great but need to figure out a few more things for my new project.
Which route do you want to follow?
Making an Arduino showing up as a jockstick is a piece of cake.
There are literally tons of free solutions. If you are looking for a RTU solution, I’d suggest MMJoy2.

RE: Assign order of USB devices in Windows 10?
Be aware that regardless of how you set the order in DeviceSorting.txt, if using Alt launcher it will reset the order back as soon as it starts…
Make this file (and some others - i.e. axismapping.dat) ready-only and you are set until you exchange or add a device.
That way I’m now settled since years and without any mentionable issues.

RE: BMS 4.34 screenshots
Still looks a little bit too clean and flat. Any ideas on weathering?
Great work!
Here you’ll find some ideas for weathering the beauty:

RE: Air Source Hidden by Armrest
…google edtracker psedo 6-dof… you will be amazed believe i using it
I’m already using pseudo 6dof.
I’ll take a look, if I can tune it a little more to overcome this.
All over all it’s not an big issue as - sooner or later - a physical rotary will be in that place.@molni: The pilot isn’t the problem, it’s really the armrest (hardware) in the pit.
-
RE: Air Source Hidden by Armrest
Lean forward.
Ever used EDTracker ?
That doesn’t work.@all:
What’s the corresponding graphics file?
I’d like ro erase the armrest there. -
RE: Electronic Flight Bag
@mhm:
Hello everyone,
What is the most effective way to use this amazing tool on ipad 3(İOS 9)? I am having a bit of trouble. Do I need a better Ipad?
I’m using it with Goodreader.
Kinda pricy App, but over the years using it, I’m still happy with it and judge it worth the price.
It supports several Cloud-Services, Document-Types and has a small Browser. -
RE: MasterPilot Consoles
Hi & “welcome back”
Concerning MasterPilots there will be now the problem to program the device itself.A way to revive the hardware might be to rip out the old-aged electronics and convert it to a ‘joystick’:

RE: Link 16 things you want in the next update
Which systems are we talking about? Please provide valid info on systems implemented in BMS.
I see the last postings as a general question if there are systems which are capable to engage AGM or mortars. My answer was only relevant for the quoted part.

RE: Link 16 things you want in the next update
- For God’s sake, even ballistic weapons rounds (cannons, mlrs and mortars) were intercepted with modern sam weapons. (see Israel)
Yes, German Bundeswehr is using MANTIS AAA against mortar attacks:

https://www.army-technology.com/projects/mantis/So, downing an AGM with it should be possible as well.

RE: YAME64 suite
I can not get YAME 64 v1.2 to work on my Win 10 PC. Previously I had it working with BMS 4.34 but my windows crashed (for other reasons) so I reinstalled Win 10 on a reformatted drive. I then loaded BMS 4.33 U1-U5, BMS 4.34, and YAME64 v1.2. I also installed MS Visual C++ as shown bellow:
[…]
When I start the Client I get this error message:Same problem here - and g_bExportRTTTextures ist set to 1 in both cfgs.
Good news: I drilled this error down, but nevertheless the MFDs, etc. are no showing up.
For some reason YAME is (now?) looking for a falcon bms.cfg in C:\User\Config
Jusrt create these (sub)directories and copy the falcon bms.cfg in there and at least the error above is gone. So… Now I (we) need only help to get the MFDs & Co. to be extracted again…

RE: Falcon BMS 4.34 Changes you noticed.
AIM9 diamond circles now around its FOV-Circle

RE: 4.34 Poor FPS Performance
Maybe running in (borderless) window mode?
1080 is kinda overkill for BMS. So: FPS expecting FPS (at least) in the 60ies.
