There is a file called “2007_HCO_VISTA_64_RC1.exe” for 64-bit OS which includes all software elements required, including Cougar Control Panel (CCP). If you had a completely clean Windows install, running this file will install all the software you need. It also installs Foxy which isn’t a problem in itself, I simply choose not to use it. Here is my Start Menu entry after I run this file:
CCP can be started from the menu, or a desktop shortcut created as desired.
Foxy being on your system is not a bad thing. As Bluey suggests above, there may be a time when it has it’s uses, but in all the time I’ve used TM gear (started with an FCS/WCS2/RCS combo - IIRC the Foxy software came with the F-16 FLCS and TQS), I’ve chose not to use Foxy as I found it cumbersome and just not to my taste (Sorry James!)
Chances are, you’ve already got the CCP and its elements installed? If so, you have everything you need already.
