Does anyone use BMS at a lower resolution than 1920x1080
-
1600x900
slinks back into his cave
-
1600x1024 for me right now….in the market for a 1080 tho
-
1920x1200 for me
-
@A.S:
2560 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440
4K makes no sense to me - yet. It might save anti-aliasing though.
3440x1440 certainly makes the MFDs nice and crisp

-
1680x1050… and very happy with it!

Are there forum rules for bragging too much?
J/K.
I cannot even get my old calc to multiply those numbers. “Out of range”

2560 x 1440, any higher and it hurtz.
And I would need a $1k GPU, ouch.

Depends on which computer I am using. My PC at home (6 years old and going strong) is 19201080. But I work away from home so I left it loney there. My laptop is a Mac, and the native resolution is 28801800. So I, depending on performance, either go native or run at 1440*900 (usually this)

Only switched to 16:9 months ago when my display PSU burned out. Used 1680x1050.
-
1900x1200 … but with the double resolution for the HUD/MFD/TGP/MAV turned off to keep the FPS up.

My 980Ti copes just fine. Same low FPS at busy bases as always, but I’m at 75+ most of the time

Haha… Left you similar msg yesterday on opentrack.git (interpolation of deadzones, 2 months ago) … My main PSU exploded a month back … funny thing
…1680x1050 = 16:10 (here also)

5896x1080 for my Falcon BMS display, a 1920x1080 touchscreen for my main instruments, and another 1920x1080 touchscreen for the left Aux console and other programs like TeamSpeak, hardware monitor, etc. All of this powered by a single 980Ti. For an interesting read about performance, check out my FPS testing thread.
Here is a picture of the rig “at work”…
What I’m interested in for those that game below 1920x1080 resolution –- why? I suspect people who do this are playing on a laptop?
-
why?
Are you for real? Do you honestly think we can all afford to buy such elaborate systems? Some of us live in the real world you know!

Um, a 1920x1080 24" screen is hardly an “elaborate” system as these can be had for the price of a 256GB SSD… or are those “elaborate” systems too?
Also, there exists a concept in the real world that should help in getting such elaborate systems… it’s called “overtime” -

Try working in a salaried management position then claiming overtime. Wake up son.

Or just having a life outside a game.
EDIT:
I don’t say that to be mean. But to put it in perspective:
Every one of those monitors would probably cover a week of going out to the pub. Or a really nice date with an actual woman you met while at said pub. Or a monthly payment on a car. Nicer apartment. New TV. Flying lessons to be able to experience a form of your passion in real life. Fees for a sports club. Just saying there is more to life than Falcon, you would be hard pressed to use that rig for any other kind of gaming and not be absolutely annoyed by all the other stuff on the desk.
