Ff you could have one thing in the next update it would be…

???
Use game UI to connect then !!
We can connect to IVC, but we can’t select a capture/playback device via game UI.
The problem is IVC Client can’t display Japanese character. I guess it also collapses Chinese/Korean characters too.EDIT: or if capture/playback devicename listbox could be more wide it would help enough.
-
As an aside, you can influence the selection of capture and playback devices simply: IVC will use the device marked as ‘default’ by windows.
So, set the desired devices as the ‘default communications device’ and IVC will use those devices.

F-15E finished model (the current one has a hole through the back of the plane when in the cockpit)
Love to see the F-15E also get FLIR and a HUD that is spaced it fits the size of the physical HUD in the cockpit

The F-15E 229 doesn’t have that hole you speak of if you know your way around the game folder you could fix it by changing the cockpit, the cockpit parent numbers for the f-15 found in Data/Art/ckptart, are
F-15A 1743 F15
F-15C 898 F15
F-15D 1744 F15
F-15DJ 1746 F15
F-15E-220 864 F15
F-15E-229 864 F15copy and paste.

So this would change the cockpit to the semi 2d cockpit of the F-15C? Or would you still keep the F-15E pit?
-
This already exists.
Look for
set g_bHotasDgftSelfCancel 0 // set to 1 = SRM and MRM override callbacks will call the override cancel callback for you
in your falcon bms.ini.“Toggle” functions for Override modes. Unrealistic I know but not having to bind a “Cancel Override” means you save an extra button and can just have “Press once to enter Dogfight/Medium Range Missile (AMRAAM) Mode, click again to cancel”. Not to mention we have similar toggle functions for stuff like Master Arm, etc.
I think you can do it with TARGET but having it as stock functionality would be better. (TARGET is very user-unfriendly)
The throttle on the T16000m has a “Two Way” button that returns to center, and it’d be perfect for dogfight/mrm override, but since it returns to center the “automatic override cancel” thing won’t really work unless you hold the switch down the entire time, so that means I have to bind another button just for cancelling it. I’m a button-lover and the T16000 is a HOTAS where every single button counts.

The f-15E-229 is just something I jumped into too check for a hole, if I was to guess looking at the molding behind the seat I’d say it came from a C that being that, I’m also using that pit in the Hornet because I’m stuck in 4.32 with a weak computer and the Hornet pit sucks in 32, now it looks pretty good married to the Hornet fuselage every thing is were it suppose to be.

in your falcon bms.ini.Uh, not quite. With the self cancelling option you listed there, the override mode will be cancelled as soon as you release the button. As mentioned in the request by the poster, the switch is a momentary switch, so setting the self cancelling will just mean the override mode is entered, then immediately exited, as soon as the switch is released. The desired behavior is a toggle, instead. So that the override mode would be entered when you press the button once, and exited when you press the button again.
@Toybasher: I am fairly certain you can do it with TARGET, and I would recommend you do so there instead. One, you can have your desired behavior today, instead of maybe some years from now, and two, its probably not BMS’ job to replicate the programmability of the Cougar within their controller setup.

Ah, thanks for the explanation.
This seems to be a valid request then I forwarded to the team as we speak. -
Print the laser code that is set for LGB’s on the mission briefing screen, for each member of the flight.
If this is updated in the loadout screen, reclicking the flight and seat, and then reopening the brief should show the updated codes. -
it’s not a problem of code, it’s just a problem of FPS saving.
To have non rotating clouds, you need to generate 3D clouds, which is no problem at all but at what cost ?
Woah? Seriously? Is it theoretically possible to have not rotating 3D clouds in BMS? I am asking because according to the devs is simply not doable in much never engine for Il-2 Great Battle series. That’s why it sounds fantastically if we can have 3D volumetric clodus (rotating or not, I don’t care about this).

Of course it’s doable !! Main issue are fps of course

would love to have them with shadows….

(Would it make it faster if we dress in yellow and block Kunsan’s active?)

I wan’t an mp3 player in my block 70. Make the Jammer panel into an mp3 player. “Flight, music.”
-
-
I probably shouldn’t admit this out loud, but that music-player function (= invoking Winamp) is one of my favorite little things in the sim.
Sometimes I just like to do free flight, flying around the terrain or practicing turns at altitude, and I love invoking “BMS Crew Entertainment”. ICP -> LIST -> 0 -> 0 -> dobber right. Fun in 1v1 dogfights too. -
they think they want 3d volumetric clouds when turning up the 2d cumulus clouds to 50% already tanks FPS…
-
Sorry I was not really serious asking for a music player. But what do you know I learned something new and cool!

Another thing that I dream for the Strike Eagle (Yes IK this is a free mod for a F-16 Simulator) along with fixing that large hole in the back, is too have the HUD data fill up the entire hud like on the real Strike Eagle. Does anyone know if this actually possible in game to spread out the HUD data? Would that have to be edited just for the Strike Eagle, like how they modified the Hornet HUD?.
