@Fire112 I wonder what this means for the BMS team? Clearly the copyright had to cost some major dollars and MPS will need to recoup via sales.

Uinstalling Older Versions of BMS
What is the best way to uninstall older versions of BMS without compromising the Falcon 4 or causing registry issues? I have .35 and .36. Is there a formal uninstaller?

RE: How to save your neck in VR
@Kiwispirits i knew this issue was coming once vr was implemented. I think simmers will respect pilots more since they now see what the simple act of turning one’s head to “check 6” really takes. And that’s under a 1G load. Imagine having to do that at 3 -5 G.
Sounds like a nifty tool but I hope it doesn’t become the new cheat device.

RE: Issues with the Sun
@Dee-Jay not sure what you mean by that. It doesn’t look right.

Issues with the Sun
Hi team, is there something that can be done about the Sun? The Sun in RL doesn’t always emit beams of light like that in exactly 6 points.

RE: How to use the COM‘s in VR?! 😳
@Rainmaker use Voiceattack. It will be more i.mersive anyway.

RE: Cursor radar
@mppzgz what version of Vjoy and windows 10 do you have?

RE: Cursor radar
I thought vjoy stopped working with the latest version of Windows?
@mppzgz said in Cursor radar:

By the moment, using joystick gremlin it seems work properly (more testing needed).
Do not open any saitek software. Drivers (included) only is neccesary. Saitek soft is forbidden.
1.- Install Vjoy setup
2.- Set up a Vjoy
3.- Delete the slider and implement cursor as DX (limitation of axis in DX need to loose the slider…) . Use this: x52_ministickFIX_no_SLIDER.reg
4.- Install HidHideMSI.msi
5.- Hide the original X52 HOTAS to all software except joystick gremlin using the following process at HidHide :
- Open joystick gremlin AS ADMINISTRATOR ALWAYS and Load X5220221231buttons.xml
7.- Go to Tools/calibration. Move ALL the axes and center it at 50%. Then press centered, then save.
Press the console remote icon to start working.
8.- Go to the launcher and map all the buttons as Vjoy and the axes included the cursor from Vjoy
Pray.

Force Feedback Broken
Having a problem getting force feedback to work in BMS. I have the Brunner CLS Joystick Base with Thrustmaster Warthog stick. I am using the BrunnerDX software with it and am getting no feedback even with the ffb option checked in BMS 4.36. Any ideas?%(#000000;">#000000)[colored text]

@Huesudo these were fixed way back in RealismPatch days. Is it broken again?

RE: 4.36 Kuwait 64
@eddropper Kudos to you and your team. Those screenshots alone remind me of the old game boxes we used to see in the stores. Had us salivating over buying it and getting it home to fire it up on the PC.
Very nostalgic!

RE: TUSBA problems
@jcook I had the same issue. None of the Manufacturers recommendations worked for me. Tried everything but even manual entries would not force the Tusba to go to 100%. Could never get it to go above 70%. I ended up disconnecting it and putting g it in the drawer. I then went and flashed the firmware on the Cougar.
My Cougar then worked properly so didn’t need to go back to the Tusba R2. Since I have the Warthog stick, I just put the Cougar stick under my desk and fly with the Cougar Throttle and Warthog stick. -

RE: Thanks for fixing the camera view in the Strike Eagle!
@GrizzlyBear83 I did this way back in the F4 Alliance days to simulate the WSO. Not with the Eagle specifically but with other two seaters. Just getting back into Falcon BMS. I’m going to look at the Eagle. After doing so, if I’m feeling nostalgic and find some time, I might work on something…

RE: Problem with installing update UI2 4.35
4.34 and 4.35 are completely seperate from each other so no need to uninstall 4.34 in order to install 4.35
On the other hand apart from your logbook I wouldn’t copy over config and especially not key files. There have been significant changes in callbacks made between 4.34 and 4.35.
As long as you are not proficient by hand editing or merging files your better bet is to start from scratch with your keybinds after installing 4.35
If you don’t use it already AL Alternative Launcher is a great tool simplyfing the key and HOTAS configuration processGesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
Yes, but I need the disk real estate occupied by the older installs. So, how do I uninstall them? I don’t see an Uninstaller icon.

RE: Problem with installing update UI2 4.35
Hi guys, I have a different issue. I have earlier versions of 4.34(individual installs) and would like to go to the latest 4.35. How do I uninstall the earlier versions and keep my keyfiles, settings, etc and install the latest version of 4.35 without corrupting things?
