@MaxWaldorf
No worries, I fixed the permissions issue using the registry. Just reporting that it worked so people can see commonality of resolution of the issue.
@Vespa You said you bought a new headset, I dont see that in your screen shots. If you have trouble hearing others because its changing the volume try deselecting enhancements while you are trouble shooting.

You’ve got at least three output devices listed are those. Why are you using a microphone at the rear of your computer? Are you able to just plug in your new headset and test those on their own?
@Vespa
I think you would need to change the default ports for BMS on one of the machines, and forward these ports in your router. So you would have a different port range for each of your machines. You can’t forward the same ports twice (i.e. for the two hosts).
There is an option in the config set g_nServerPort, but i have never tried it.
One of my past lives was as a ‘Bird Control Unit’ operator.
On the course I was fascinated by the 1/2 Mass (of the budgie) x Velocity squared formula giving the Kinetic force for damage! Imagine a goose down your intake…
I saw the results of many bird strikes but the worst has to be a deer strike! Simulate that mess! 😊
As for birds not liking to live near airfields. Nah. They love it! All the open grass areas are fantastic feeding for them, unless it’s allowed to grow longer. (Then you get another problem of fires in Summer…)
Roosting in the Hangars/Buildings and local area woods are another reason.
Trained Falcons for Bird Control are pretty rare in my experience.
Oh and we played loud music as well as various species alarm calls to disperse them. Lapwings were a particular pain. They’d return in minutes! And yes we used flare type pistols firing specialised shotgun cartridges that were like flashbangs.
I loved that job… More to it than you would think!
I appreciate this is an old thread, and F4TS is for outputs, but I thought this might be helpful information if someone ends up on this thread looking for joystick controllers.
Some of those cheap game control boards can be modified to have analogue inputs as well as the digital inputs. This instructable by limastraker shows show to connect axes to the controller:
Hello !
I prépare à training tonight and I would like to know if I can start in rampstart and my friends join me later but he would start on taxi.
We are not in the same flight and I host the game. I can use another machine if it’s very necessary
Thank you!
Later, yes it works. He’ll have to wait until the predefined taxi time. Default is 4 minutes to take-off if I’m not mistaken and it hasn’t changed.
@vAiCon Is it not possible the create a short programme who doing the procedure to activate it ? (for some kind of poeple who afraid to change something in BMS manually ?) i just lunch the idea if it’s not, it’s not xD
