Nobody plans to overstress his stores (unless this somebody is T.C. and makes sh*tty plan in general). IMHO it’d be great to have to take into account that even if weapon will separate from the pylon and you do everything 101% right it still may fail.
I think about scenarios like OCA strike with very narrow window of opportunity to strike the target, when your perfect attack run fails and you have to have a backup plan.
Also this story of locked fin in jdam is kinda hair rising, Think of it, you’ve just dropped the 2000 pounds bomb and it instantly tries to kill you flying up.
