Rudder pedal movement animation! The old one was really funny. New one is great!
I suggested to improve rudder pedal movement animation on other thread. I wonder development team read my post. If they did and improve this. Thanks BMS development team! -
I can’t say for sure but did the graphics get an update, seems pretty crisp on my screen now:
There were no updated in the graphics engine.
Placebo effect baybe?

The AI seems highly aggressive now.
They zip around at high speeds it tight formations.
They execute crisp BVR tactics, bracketing, beaming. We’re constantly being setup and flanked, ambushed from below.
3 of us brought a #4 AI on a mission. He flew around like his hair was on fire, he merged with several MiG’s, flared all their missile shots, jinked their gun shots, sliced through their formations firing his gun. He was a serious psycho.
We were rolling watching the acmi. -
NWS now actually uses the pedal keybind rather than the roll keybind in keyboard users
-
I noticed the Vulcan cease fire after a long burst (overheating ?), then only a short bursts possible if I still want to keep firing.

Can’t reproduce that one…

Wonder if he uses joystick software like “press button 1 to hold spacebar” sometimes this can result in lost continuity of action.

Hmm…
I went through all versions which I may flew yesterday, but it seems it caused by something else. I hope not my joy dying
Sorry for false alarm.
Cheers

-Much better AIM-9 behavior. Not just the flare locking thing… Also the more natural uncage sound behavior, the uncaged sound was previously either on or off, now it fades (lowers frequency) as the missile looses the target, also there is some sound variation when target starts popping flares. Not sure if sounds are fully realistic (DCS ones seems closer to the ones seen on some real F-16 videos), however things may depend on particular AIM-9 variant i guess. Here is the real dead:
no uncage unfortunatelly. Here is one with uncage:
I wonder how would real AIM-9X sound sound like, guess it would be different than M.-Avionics improvement for AGM-84A.
-Colors for MFD can now be programmed in DTC, nice thing to have.
-Azimuth limits for FCR seems to behave a little different way (they are no longer centered on the cursor, they move when trying to place cursor past them).
-On some video i have seen that MAVerick track lines (the so called crosshair) now shakes when tracking target.
-IDM have been improved, now it is tied to radio channel from what i heard and it can be toggled between UHF and VHF for AA and AG datalink separatelly.
-Targeting/NAV pods can now be loaded in loadout screen normally (choose any configuration you want).
-Some new cockpit variants have been added.
-I know about new JFS behavior aswel as things like possible hot start or hung start but i have not yet tried campaign (waiting for the YAME MFD extractor so i can have my touchscreen fully functional before i start campaign).
-In avionics configurator there is ASIU?!
-ATC and AWACS have changed.And…
…The IFF of course! -
I noticed something has changed in how the throttle feels, it’s more “soft” when adjusting power , it’s easier to AAR and formation flying.
I know nothing has changed in FLCS and FM but that’s it… maybe more FPS? Who knows…Speaking of AAR , I noticed the tanker does not say “tanker entering turn” when player is connected to the boom. When not connected and when AI is connected the message is heard.
Do anyone has the same problem? -
I have to say, job well done guys. You are truly the best in this industry at what you do.
One thing that I noticed that blew me away was sitting in the Hornet and feeling the aircraft bomb up and down with the carrier. Then looking off my left shoulder and seeing shadow of the command tower shift with the direction of sunlight as the carrier turned to allow aircraft takeoff with the wind. The shear level of activity of aircraft moving and everyone getting about with the business of the day. It is all so real. Catching a wire that you can see, priceless.
A bit more love to this aspect of the sim and man, we get another ten years out of this one.
Definitely notice the lack of wakes from the other ships but I know that is coming.I can hear that song in my head right now called “I can only imagine.” Imagine seeing those aircraft traveling up the elevators to get on the deck and down to clear the deck on top of all this greatness. Wow!
A job well done old friends.

Laser codes that are set, stay set after saving and leaving the campaign file and opening the save file later.

Bedroom flashbacks…!

That’s already the case.
EDIT: ha! I thought I was in the wishlist. Leaved it for the laugh.

So, would you prefer the carrier operation tasks in BMS 4.34 over the current flat-top possibilities in DCS F/A-18C ? - which of both of them seem more real :-? And my last and concurrently most urgent question: Because I like BMS’s depection of the FA-18C so much (flightmodel), is there a possibility to substitute the F-16’s in various TE an replace it with the FA-18C (similar procedure of changing airplanes within DCS’s Mission Editor).
Thanky you in advance for your inputs, guys
