Seat down/up..

Why? Come on RD … read again.
Saying “DCS has it … Loosers” is not the best way to ask for something. At least it is the way I understand it.

still waiting for the BMS and possible DCS(i dont play DCS) cup Holder…Dear Devs is it possible to implement this?? many of us still have DVD drives on our desktop surely you can write a bit of code to open the DVD drive to be used as much needed receptacle for my Beer can ….cough no i mean coffee cup holder!! you guys are slacking with the development of this excellent sim

Ain’t that position set per aircraft?
Yeap fixed , not user adjustable, but it’s there. In my perspective (though I understand and am ok with fixed cause of eye-hud alignment) if this becomes adjustable (regardless of the 3dmodel) it will be easier to set it when testing new aircraft - cockpit.
I’m sure the code pain is huge, cause you change the whole architecture of it. Instead of having a fixed point provided 2 u , u must create input parameters, add user interaction and adjust the position, I’m sure users will need this on the fly and not like set it in config, or via 2d UI. -

Saying “DCS has it … Loosers” is not the best way to ask for something. At least it is the way I understand it.You miss my point Dj.
It has Nothing to do with the initial request, it has to do with the way WE treat other ppl.
I ask you not to be toxic, even if the method to ask is not suiting you.The Op didn’t, the others before him didn’t. Stevie did and you went toxic because he gave one kuddos to DCS.
You gave Kuddos to DCS before as well for their sound engine, no? So why do you want to prevent other ppl to do the same as you, on different perspective - because they Don’t suit your own agenda? We are trying for this place to be less toxic with all that DCS stuff going on.
In case you guys didn’t notice, a LOT of DCS users are now coming to try BMS. Being toxic here just chase them away and that, in the long run play against BMSSo can the toxic stuff and this place will be better, that’s all I ask.

I’ve always been curious to know if my struggle to see “ALIGN” during rampstart, since 4.34, was intended. I would probably adjust my seat differently at different times of flight. Instead I just tweak my neutral trackIR position, the same I do for other aircrafts.
-
On my little own, Gentlemen, it’s a positive ‘NO WAY’ to alter my seat height, positon and al. even with TIR facilities…
I try to center my POV on TIR and keep it that way actually, no matter of what kind of flight I’m going to do after.Just my one cent here, nothing else.
With best regards.

Good morning, Gentlemen.
I’m not positively willing to start, nor continue, a fire, here.
But ‘who’ cares of DCS?
Really, let’s keep just on our own way straight ahead, quietly reaching our goals from time to time.
This is enough for us, and our own way at the same time, I see.
And that’s all.With best regards.

A lot of us, just love flight sims, no matter what the flavour. I for example get my VR fix from DCS, my war simulation from BMS, and my civilian pilot fix from Xplane etc. I couldn’t agree with RD more, lets welcome guys who have played DCS and are now looking at BMS, it can only be good for BMS and who knows maybe BMS can benefit from features implemented in DCS and visa versa.
We all win.

We care of F-16.
Therefore, if there is something DCS has about F-16 but BMS doesn’t, no wonder we care that too.
Of Cource BMS dev has limited resources, thus there is a priority.

Agree, but not only that. More new people interested in BMS does not only mean more new virtual pilots, but also possibly more new developers. Not now, that’s for sure, but in the future? Who knows.
I still believe that last Falcon/BMS developer has not been born yet

Well, considering YOU have greatly increased the “user-friendliness” of getting into BMS with your Alternative Launcher, you are playing a big part in introducing it to new folks… THANK YOU Chihirobelmo!

Other biggest demand for BMS from DCS users should be VR and Chuck Owl’s BMS Guide.

Couldn’t agree more, dear Lorik.
But in this while, would you chihirobelmo kindly repost your last, but with your attachment ‘correctly’ embedded this time so it’s shown as a real picture?
Thanks in advance to you, with best regards to all.

Agree.
If:
- we can solve the current issues with VR - please see the results in that poper discussion in this sub-forum or the technical one, can’t recall here;
- if he didn’t already got an exclusive agreement with DCS dev. team. You know well how those guys, and one in particular, are. Especially against BMS.
With best regards.

Still as “Early Access” as DCS:F-16 is but if Chuck Owl is not a big fan of BMS my answer is this…

Yes, his guides to DCS and IL2 are very well done and equally well received… would love to see a BMS Guide from him but I think the required depth of it may be a bit daunting to proceed… VR, I say improve all the GFX 1st, then worry about it (as a non-VR guy until much better resolution is generally available)
