Link 16 things you want in the next update

Flying a sortie in every two hours is nowhere related to realism of course, more an incentive to make your participation count. It is tweakable in Falcon bms.cfg if nothing changed with 4.34. Sorties in real life, are one, or two if intensive, per day, in modern AF.
-
Would depend a bit on the mission type and the intensity of operations. Strike is a complex mission, hours to plan and hours to execute. CAS for its complexities, can be planned, briefed and flown rapidly, to the point where hotpit rearming and flying multiple missions per sortie may be a realistic outcome. Of course, this is not something we can do in BMS as yet.

Is it possible toncreare a campaign with one to two sorties a day ? Would be boring for most of the players, but if possible would be nice to make it.

Why bother? You can simply pretend each day in bms is 10 days in real time Only 2 sorties per day for each squadron would completely mess up the way the ATO works.

Not sure what you mean by creating a campaign. This is not inherent to the campaign, but to what is written in falcon bms.cfg.

Ok, good to know. Thanks for the answers guys.

A āprintā button (export to text file) on the ATO, exporting the whole list of the frag order at that time.

I know it always easy to ask for than it is to actually program the changes asked for, but as a single player I would like the various missions results to be fixed to reflect the outcome (ie. your an SEAD and no one in pckg dies due to enemy air defense, but you fail).
And on topic of changes, this version is the absolutely best I have ever seen for wingmen responses and actions while in flight. Great job!

Yeah, would be nice to fix all that stuff!
But I am afraid it will require a (almost) total rewrite because the principle of evaluating pilots on something they can do anything about it not fair IMO. (One can not always make the TGT one time for various reasons such as evasive actions, and retrograde plan ā¦ etc ā¦ but passing the Push on time is something different. ā¦ and since we canāt act as mission commander, I think it is not fair to punish a human Escort leader when the strikers has been shot down because they are not smart enough to abort ā¦ etc ā¦)
Maybe someday. Iāll keep in mind (on my list for long time).

Itād be really nice to get something along the lines of F4Wx integrated into the game and made completely hands-off for the end user. When starting a campaign, imagine just checking āreal world weatherā and then forgetting about it. Or having a dynamic weather system run by the campaignā¦ this way, it could generate weather out in advance and give you forecasts (with a little randomness thrown in so the forecasts arenāt perfect) alongside the current weather. Either way, the point is to have as few external programs (ideally none) to run alongside the base game.

that will never happen and this is far better to have external module pluged in
at the moment, you cna Download several days of forecast and place it automatically in the correct folder
Then this is totally transparent for the user, just start the campaign and you have the real weather in real time.
It is better to keep it external as we can update the F4WX module much faster and on a more regular basis than the whole game.

Hold onā¦
I agree with you that an integrated āReal world weatherā in BMS would generate more problems than solutions but, in theory an integrated script the read real world weather form an external software that read real time data and update fmaps letās say from 15 to 15 minute time interval itās not a impossible task.
Iām most happy with the solution we have now, but forecast are just that forecasts and real world weather would give even more accurate data to the minute.
