Link 16 things you want in the next update

I, personally, would like fully or at least more functional cockpits for the F-15C and possibly the F-22. Neither of these aircraft have even a HUD symbology incorporated. Thank you for this opportunity to respond to the topic.

They are, but according to the manual they do not work properly. They’re available in older blocks.
huh, I’d thought LCOS worked fine when I used it last. Never really played much with the others.

Not related to Link 16 topic, but:
A decent FHD/4K UI :shock::bolt:

It would be nice if the tanker would not immediately return to its holding point when refueling is complete but continue to it’s second refueling steerpoint so multiple enroute refuelings are possible, like it was in 4.33.

IMO, you are missing something about tanker tracks described in BMS manual .

Ah, turns out my legs where a few nm shorter compared to the ones I used in 4.33

Would it be possible to have tankers remain at the set altitude in the planning window instead of always going to 22k? That would make it possible to have a tanker stack so multiple flights can refuel with different tankers simultaneously without too much risk of a midair. Since some receivers don’t do well at other altitudes you can leave the default refuel waypoint heights at 22k so it won’t give problems for auto-fragged flights. But it would we nice if you change it manually that the tanker will also adopt this.

Each aircraft has its own refuel altitude therefore tanker is adjusting altitude depending on the refueling aircraft

Not sure that’s always correct… Normally the tanker has an anchor it flies in and keeps a block altitude. It would take a lot of coordination to move a tanker around …

cut off the intercom communications when we are encountering High G forces evolution …basically because the pilot is applying the hook maneuver and he can’t speak (>6~7G)

Mine is then a bit different.
Whatever our experiences, it is how it works in game for code vs data reasons. But you can change the values in acdata files if you really want to. (in that case you may have possible issues with AIs if their payload DF / weight is not compatible with the new settings you will set since it is data and can’t reasonably be dynamically calculated).

My wish for next version: That the recon window is more easy to navigate with the mouse. No need anymore for the sidebar controls for zoom and pan. Zoom in/out with mouse wheel, rotate by holding mouse button and draggin mouse and so on. Also being able to pan across the map in 3D to inspect other objects in the vicinity. This way we can investigate ingress/egress routes much more smoothly. We are currently very locked at the spot where recon was chosen in the map view.

Just starting a new campaign and tending to spend a lot of time under canopy. We used to be able to look around after ejecting and watch the what was happening to the rest of the wing and to the target. Now we just hang there facing in one direction listening to all the action going on around us… this is very frustrating. Last mission we were jumped by waves of enemy fighters and after ejecting I was able to see, finally, the remainder of the fight in front of me… an amazing explosion of one the aircraft caught me by suprise when secondaries started exploding in the debris cloud… really cool effect. The remaining bandits retreated in my direction of view dropping flares and firing after burners… again another cool sight. This rarely happens under canopy as I am usually facing away from the action and made me realize how much I miss it. Soooo…
Any chance of getting the view direction controls back again after ejecting?

Can it be made that when a flight with one or more humans in it (and perhaps also AI) refuels, the altitude of the flightplan is maintained instead?

About AAR in generell.
ALT doesnt really matter THAT much, one can also seperate laterally, if more than one tanker is neccessary.
Much more important is the opportunity to select, wether each aircraft wants to check individually or the flight wants to check in as usual.
Its most likely that not the lead is the one with a serious low fuel state. Often #2, 3 or 4 needs fuel much more urgent than the lead. At the moment there is no sufficent and fluent way to incorperate that into the refueling que of the tanker.
It would be nice, if we could have a functionality as follows.Case 1: Every member of the flight has enough fuel to make it to divert field or wait for the other members to be fueled up. Then everything works as coded, the flight gets into the 10nm bubble of the assigned tanker and checks in as a whole. [RadioMenu: Request AAR for Flight]
Case 2: Number 2 is damn low on fuel because war is dynamic and he had to defend some SAMs. Now #2 does immediately need fuel before #1. Now the flight enters the 10nm bubble does not check in as a whole flight but as individual AC. [RadioMenu: Request AAR for me].
With that option every wingman has to check in himself with the tanker and the que can be sorted as needed by the pilots themselfes. That would enable a AAR without hassling with the que. At the moment, if number 2 needs fuel first, the flight checks in, #1 says “done refueling”, number 2 gets on the boom, then 3 and 4. After that, the whole flight needs to depart at least 10nm just to get back again to make the lead refuel.
What you think?

One thing i would love to see change or at least looked upon for future releases is the Mirage F-1.
The F-1 in BMS 4.34 is like a mini F-22, its range, fuel flows and behavior in flight is like if the Mirage F-1 was overperforming. It almost doesn’t degrade energy.

Regarding energy, Mirage F1 does not degrade its energy because its just don’t turn… its sustained turn rate is rather low.
But if you want to bleed your energy just try max G turn below 300Kts
