CATM it’s a very nice and interesting method of training.
I would like that perhaps you can allow to have unlimited weapons, like unlimited fuel, chaff and flares are allowed.…
And this is only about A-A training, I would like too for A-G training, having unlimited bombs, maverick’s, guided bombs, etc, and see the real effect over the enemy forces.CATM it’s a really nice option, but on the “game side”, I don’t think it could be a problem to have unlimited weapons. Will be nice for better testing and training purposes.
“Instant Action” includes unlimited weapons.

@Dee-Jay
I know it, but I feel that all is about A-A things, and forget A-G things.
Perhaps I forgot to add: “for better testing and training purposes… on TE missions”, it’s my fault.“Instant Action” it’s only for… Instant Action, A-A.
On TE missions, we can test, training best, explore, create, etc, there are too many situations that can’t be explored on “Instant Action”.
The F-16 fighter it’s a very special fighter, a multi-purpose aircraft, that can provide air cover for troops, attack ground targets and engage enemy aircraft.
But how I said, it’s only a wish, a simple appreciation that could greatly enrich this excellent simulator. Thank’s for the tip.

In TE, when you delete a package, it disappears from the map but it is as if BMS did not decoount it. It seems to me that there is a problem exactly similar to that with USGrowler
We reached the limit of aircraft available.
Would it be possible to do something about it please Santa? -

Instant Action” it’s only for… Instant Action, A-A.
I don’t know if I understood you correctly, English is not my native language…but in instant action selecting the Moving Mud box is for AG practices, you spawn in 3d with infinite ag88, cb105, gbu12 and maverick65d…you can select enemy air defenses, Sams, AAA.
You can’t specifically select which Sam threat you want, it’s true… but some appear by default to practice -
Instant action it’s a very good option for training purposes, which was conceived initially to enter directly in combat engagement, mainly intended for Air to Air combats, like an “Arena mode”, and I knew that you can do too some basic Air to Ground training here.
In fact, sometimes I do some training for A-G in Instant Action mode, but it’s always better on TE missions for its infinite possibilities. However, perhaps what I am trying to say has not been well understood, and to better clarify what I mean, it’s only that I would like to have unlimited ammunition to test in TE missions, which is where you can do unlimited tests with infinite amounts of options. For example, to destroy a complete battalion with Maverick’s, viewing the reactions and movements of enemy ground units as they are destroyed, and do the same mission with enemy fighters protecting them, etc. I can’t explain the infinite possibilities of having unlimited ammo in TE missions, and I love to do TE missions for testing purposes and to make my own training missions.
Instant Action is clearly more limited than TE missions, you have what you have on Instant Action, and it’s fine, but you can’t select battalion’s, units, fighters, airbases, etc, to train with situations that you really need or want to train, situations based on “real” situations faced by pilots in combat, or situations that could become “real” but aren’t “real” for now.
I hope that you understand what I mean, and why I would like to have unlimited ammunition for TE missions if this isn’t so complicated, of course.
If it’s something very difficult to achieve, for me there is no problem. It’s only… a wish.I love this simulator just as is, and I appreciate so much the hard work of all of them, because without them, we couldn’t make any wishes right now, and we wouldn’t have this great simulator. I don’t need wishes, only the simulator, take off and land safe. Thank’s to all again and again.

@cchaparro ahh ok, now I understand you, it’s perfectly explained…well, I think it’s a good idea, it would be interesting…greetings mate

was my fault, and yes, will be nice if it’s possible this option, infinity TE missions with infinite possibilities with all ammo inside the 3D world.

My dream is still a non US/Russia oriented game… So many nation in the world, so many nice aircraft that do not refer to this forever boring blocks war.
Just another F-16C/F-15C/A-10/F-18C/Mig-29/Su-25/Su-27 game would just be such a shame and such a waste.
Just my thought.

Airbases having actual targets that matter beside runways.
Shooting:-Ammo storages : reducing amount/variety of stores on fragged flights.
-Bunkers : reducing actual number of aviable airframes
-Squadron buildings:reducing number of pilots thats aviable in a squadron
-Fuel depots: reducing max fuel aviable before takeoff for flights

hi Dev’s
it will be fine to have the possibility to request the Start up to the ground. -

Hi, Radium. Your thought raises an interesting question for the Group. We frequently put 'multinational" campaigns in our Theaters. So, is there Group interest in such a “non-US-Russian” campaign? What nations and planes, from the OFM available Other Jets and Theaters, would you like to see?
-
Well, not a specific plane but I could just quote :
- Gripen, a very nice Swedish and Europe used Gen4+ fighter aircraft, still in use
- Tornado, that many people like, used in Europe and abroad, Gen4 fighter/bomber, still in use
- Chengdu J-10, which is more and more exported abroad, a very nice Gen4+ multirole aircraft, stil in use
- Typhoon, a very capable Gen4++ fighter, used in Europe and abroad, still in use
- Mitsubisbi F-2 : derivated from F-16, multirole gen 4+ fighter
- Mitsubishi F-1, in use till 2006 within JASDF, very capable gen3 fighter/bomber
- FCK-1 : still in use, very capable fighter.
I will not quote French fighter, because law in France prohibits so. Because I am respectful of laws, I will never encourage it.
Even for USA :
- F-111F , an underated fantastic attack aircraft, that was in use within Tactical Air Command till 1995
- A-6E, so famous, but almost never represented in simulation, in service within US Navy till 1997
I do not ask for anything. I just mention : what about picking up an uncommon fighter aircraft for Falcon 5 ?

@Radium extensive list, would really like to see all these campaigns, and about falcon 5, they will only make money if the game is about the new and shiny f35.

The DCS plane addons shows just the opposite. F-15E, F-16C F/A-18C are essentially boosted late Cold War planes. Their mecha scan radar and most of weapons existed in Cold War. Ppl. love them. Just as the F-5E, Viggen, Mirage F.1 and MiG-21BIS. Heck, the DCS sooner or later will have a useable amount of plane for an '80s Cold War setting.
I anytime flew an F-111D (EXTREMLEY RARE!!!) or an F-111 and A-6E TRAM sim.
F-35A? I do not care. Because it is classified, it can’t be modeled well and flying any current fighter and SAM system it would we almost “just a nice walk in a park”. -
@molnibalage the thing is, microprose says its gonna be entry level, which is most likely a casual sim. In my opinion, its gonna be like Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator series
-
@Radium Give me the Tornado in a Saudi/Iran theatre! Woud be interesting to see F-15 vs Tomcat/Phoenix setups

No vehicles on active runways

@Radium
Yep it’d be nice to have those planes in BMS, but knowing the current code limits I think it’d be smart to stick to single-seat, preferable non-FBW plane, that was still in service in the '80s or later.
Any of the planes from the list below would fit in such category:- US planes: F-5, A-4, A-7, A-10
- USSR: any single-seat predating year 2000: Mig: 21, 23, 27, 29, Su-17/22, 25, 27
- UK/France: Jaguar, Super Étendard, Mirages III/V/F1 + derivatives like Kfir, Cheetach,
- Japan: F-1
AV8 would be super cool, but I have no idea how well code handles VTOL (i’m not sure if it was coded properly or just a quick hack).
F-16A and Misthubishi F2 are great options too, as for those existing FCLS code could be used, with some stretch of imagination IAI Lavi would fit there too. I’ve got no idea about JF-17, externally it’s quite similar to the Viper, but I have no clue about it’s avionics. I’d be worried about availability of solid data for that plane.
Korean FA-50 is similar story as JF-17, it is supposed to have high commonality with F-16, but I don’t know if it applies to FLCS too and there might be little to no info about avionics.
