Santa's wishlist for BMS

@drtbkj On night missions how about Christmas lights on that line of tanks I trying to find.
-
An A-10C pit since they are flyable.
-
Wow, nobody’s going to say it to bring it to the Viper? Granted, I haven’t got to try it yet either with RL going on. But reading the F-15C change log 24 hours ago and then seeing the reason in the -34 why they added the simple version made sense But some of you are missing your argument boat, it was here a day ago
Honestly, can’t wait to just take the F-15C out in dogfight module both BFM and BVR and enjoy the other premier Gen4 AA fighter.
-
@Snake122 L16 in this simplified form is also a test bed for the next step in the implementation in BMS.

Don’t forget to split the throttles…

My wish is the release of 4.38 in the not to distant future.
If I could wish again, it would be rad with more widespread use of night lighting like we see around airports. Really like the depth sense of all the light bulbs. That makes me wonder, what is a realistic distance for lights to show up based on our eye sight?
-
I only have 2 wishes:
-CET (Central Europe Theater)
-F-16A Block 15 Cockpit -

Depends A LOT on lights intensity, weather conditions, approach geometry … I would say about 8Nm.
-
@b0bl00i As @Dee-Jay says, lots of variables. I would say one of the things that surprised me in my early days of aviation of airport lighting is how far away you can see rotating beacons. I’ve seen some 20NM+ on the right nights and altitudes. Far further than you can actually make out a smaller airport during the day.
-
is there any chance to improve the ejection sequence in BMS? I saw long times ago this video and it would be nice if the game has something similar .
The uploader was @Dee-Jay so maybe he knows something about it . If I remember well, The source file was downloadable sometime . This element not just eye candy because it has very big influences the campaign or dogfight outcome. I mean If the pilots survive the crash that He still counting in the statistics. so He won’t be KIA maybe only POW or MIA or they launch a rescue mission for him. And later on He can fly an another mission, -

I’ll shoot for the moon; make the Phantom and Tornado avionics, and give me a backseat to go with them.
And also, give me multicrew so I can tell the nose gunner who to shoot at while I kick back and navigate.

@Dee-Jay
Thank you for the link. But I got error during the setup

i am impressed about the f-15c ,i start to change my mind about the capability of bms and what the team can do , at the end bms
could be with the right decisions not an only an F-16 simulator, the truth is that i wait 4.38 but i welcome with all my heart the implementation of other aircrafts too with the quality and love that you show with f-16.
i would like to see f-18c also Mirage2000-5 and from the other side su-27 and mig 29 if you are able to, but from what i read in the how the BMS team works thread this might take much time or never be done , this needs ppl more ppl or the existing ones to have the desire to make it and work like crazy, so for now
i just wait 4.38 and i welcome the new direction that bms is turned to . -
i would like 2 things:
-
can the launcher update the game with one click when updates are out. how wonderful when 4.37.4 or 4.38 comes out and i can click update and not have to worry about uninstalling falcon, removing registry, reinstalling, applying update, setting up controls etc…
-
this always seemed strange to me that the landing light is a direct beam light 12 of the nose and the taxi lights were all the lights underbelly. coming from civil aviation this is exactly the opposite - is this modeled correctly in the sim? always seemed backwards to me.
-
-
Not really a wish, just thinking about that what if we have sometimes some random switches being in other state than default? It would make sense for the interior checklist.
-
@hiuuz
Apparently the crew that’s working on the plane sets everything up in a same, consistent way, also following checklists. But you can use this: https://forum.falcon-bms.com/topic/21008/falcon-bcc-randomize-cockpit-switches-during-a-cold-start
It’s not updated for 4.37.3 though, I have to check if there are new or changed callbacks.
-
@hiuuz This is part of the pre flight check by ground crew. So everything is set up as should be before the pilot sit in the cockpit to start.

Yes this is correctly modeled

Yes I know, but there could be days when ground crew has a bad day, as everybody else has. By the way, if the ground crew set up everything, then what is “the interior checklist” for?
