Yes, you are right. But in bms, the only way to tell the wingman what to do is by using the radio menu.If such feature is implemented, when lead extend/retract the landing gears AIs can do the same time by immitation. No need of gear up/down comms.

@Dee-Jay
This sounds great, thank you. -

It could be relevant to have AI imitate lights status for a starter, then.

Nope (or only partially) because your wingman can be split and on a different flight phase than the leader. Besides, you may want your some of your wingies to keep their lights on while you are off (i.e.: night flight formation into clouds)
I do not 100% remember, but I think IAs have their own routine that you can override with coms orders.

I have recently bought JetPad and SimShaker Wings for support of Falcon BMS. Tell me please, if you fly straight at 1G… do you feel with your butt anything or everything is smooth as butter? Can you feel vibrations from the engine? Or when gear is extended or raised or locked? -
@sunrrrise smooth, I have engine beat and lots of the effects turned down/off. It’s really about what you want feedback on what’s going on with it. There are certain things you can just feel with the overall motion of the aircraft, with the F-16 typically with the other 5 axes in Gs, maybe some sounds and shudders. You don’t get “force feedback” style effects with the Viper’s fly by wire. Most Viper pilots talk about how surprisingly violent the gun is to shoot the first time, how easy it is to not feel the air brakes still open sometimes, the feeling of the AB kicking in, and tanker boom contact is noticable are some of the observations I’ve heard.
Really feeding too much to the JetSeat will muddle to where you don’t know what’s going on anymore in my opinion. I turned off LEF movement, engine beat, roll, and G feedback (but use a 3rd Space Vest for that).

integrating local GPS jamming protection systems
-
@suhkoi69
First we’d need GPS jamminmg in the sim
If we’re having really modern warfare modeled, we’d need missile strikes enabled again followed by munitions like cruise/ballistic and regular A/G missiles being targetable by air defence units and fighters, including human controlled ones, then campaign engine knowing how to handle it reasonably. And lots of drones of various kind. -

Engine … yes, a little.
Landing gear … F-16, I don’t know. On C-160, yes, clearly a lot the nose wheel door.
On Alpha Jet/M2000 … no … not the landing gear itself. But the relative wind being turbulent.EDIT:
Here is my SimShaker settings:

@Dee-Jay
Thank you! I will try your settings -
@sunrrrise Results may be very different from mine depending on your cushion.

@Dee-Jay nice setup!
-
@Dee-Jay That’s so cool! Almost wife friendly
-
@Dee-Jay I love the wooden context and lighting.

That’s the late 1990s aesthetic of the A+B cockpit, it can be easily disassembled too, maybe making it wife friendly:

In almost every aspect of this software, the enhancements and additions have been amazing.
But the enhancement of one aspect in particular was most unexpected and most welcome: Airbase/ATC activities during takeoff and landing scenarios.
I hope that this aspect of the sim continues to add, improve, and enhance airbase-related features. That’s my wish.

Add ILS DME capability
According to the documentation, BMS does not feature ILS DME so in TCN / ILS (PLS) mode the DME is from the TACAN.
Reference: bms-comms-nav-book.pdf page 64. TCN/ILS (PLS) MODE.

Native Point CTRL support in VR would be amazing.
-
@SOBO-87 Amen brother! It’s going to take either mouse support that takes input style that touchscreens/tablets use or VR controller support for @fredemmott’s HTCC custom firmware it seems…

- Danish F-16’s with correct engine data. No longer the PW200, but the PW220.
- More steerpoint lines available, no less than 10 lines
