Two Seater F-16 DJ

Hi All,
according
from manual:
Instructor would have to take-off then land. Otherwise, without taking-off, 50min after T/O time, he will be kicked out the 3D world (flight canceled).I knew nothing of it. The day before yesterday we flew an ILS trainings sortie vom Kunsan to Kimpo, land there and fly back to Kimpo. It´s takes about 2 hours! Yes, for this simple short trip!
Some thinks take time as the head of the student´s full.;) During this flight I´m not kicked out the 3-D world after 50min, maybe because I´m in the same flight as other human???
Anywere, when its happend (kicked out) we can proceed like
Arty (thanks)
open atc.ini file inside the save folder of your theater for example in Aegean: C:\Falcon BMS 4.32\Data\Add-On Aegean\Campaign\Aegean
and change
PlayerBumpTime = 50
to whatever u like… like 50000 so u will be kicked after 50000 minutes.
also same goes for
AIPullTime = 10
AIPatience = 120
ATCPatience = 180However, something else I noticed on this flight. We we reaching Kimpo, I can´t see the airport layout. My own plane parking in Kunsan and so unfortunately I´m outside the bubble.
To Demo:
No, Track IR is not working on backseat. TopGun View is a fixed view.
Momentary you can define 4 different views. I would imagine that you can increase the number of views. So you could simulate a 2-D Cockpit…
Therefore my question: Anyone knows how to increase the number of views?Question:
And if I understand correctly, you can only view the HUD and MFDs if you use MFD extractor on another monitor? No, you can use all MFD extractor instruments on your´re primary monitor as well!
It is not necessary to have an additional monitor.Well my Video does show just how it looks. Unfortunately it can not convey how cool it is.
Stripping behind the student, grab the coffee to go and just say, lets go, start the engine.
If one looks at the finger in the student, you get a much better impression of his skill.
For example: If the student makes entries into the ICP/ DED, you can see from the speed and the error occurring as quickly
His brain works and whether the cup is already full.
So you an better enable the students into.Try it out!
Greetings

As I know 4 TG views is the max. As I can remember I tried to create more but above 4 the code does not recognize them.

This would be TagNights dream come true.
There would be lots of large red text and a endless series of “read my post again”
Nice effort Bumerang or should that be “Boomerang”. Get back to me if you can.
Cheers ……
+1

Great work Bumerang! Something that a lot of us have been hoping would come around one day and even though there are obvious limitations to the framework you’re working within, the creative approach you’ve taken to this is fantastic. I will be giving it a go for sure to see how well it can be incorporated into our training. Again, great job!

I have upload your video to youtube
Good job mates keep going.

I’ve tried your tip … VERY cool. Thank you!
But for any reason … the HUD and MFDs are not shared! … don’t know why? They have been activated by the HOST on MFD Extractor options … but no joy on client side.

Superb job !

WOW Bumerang47 - stunning work, stunning presentation and stunning contribution to the community.
This will really get the ball rolling!
I have a question: is it practical to include this in a multiplayer op with multiple jets?
I.e. a flight of 4 with backseaters, or a flight of two with backseaters? How is this done, where do the players slot?
Also - i don’t see why a simple program could not be made to send keypresses over the network in order to simulate controlling the front seat.

hmmm using a tablet - phone and a ICP - consoles app (there are a few here) u could give as Ip the student ip (which will have to run the corresponding server-host app) and there u are… I believe - hope so…
Possible? I believe it’s worth a try…
Also this could be done if u also connect via Teamviewer or Nvc but will eat much bandwidth…

I’d like to include this sort of gameplay in my squadron’s weekly sessions - we have some guys whose dream is to fly two seater tornados.
I am just curious how to organize the flights. How do the backseaters “join”?
-
Hi Krause,
thank you for your compliment!:D
I see no problems with several jets!
For example: You can flight as an 8-ship two seaters so total 16 players…
What you need are in the game 16 aircraft.
Please read the tutorial. All backseaters also climb in there jets, but does not ramp start, instead they will look with
“View friendly” for there frontseaters.
Then they activates the TopGun View.
Eight jets remain on the ground, eight flight as Two- Seater. There is an additional option.
I must confess that I have not tried it yet, but if a MFDE- host on the internet offering its instruments,
several people can connect to his IP and see his instruments simulaneously.
Thus, a combination of theoretical and practical training is possible.@Arty
good idea!
A pilot named Pitbull from my squadron has tried it with “touchbuddy”, a program for touchscreens and it worked.
Unfortunately, the client must use the exacty keystrokes of the host.Greetings
