…… if ppl do not want a childish answer … they should not ask a childish question.
Enjoy what you have and do not care about what you will maybe have until it is on your hard drive. ….
Exactly!

So if ppl do not want a childish answer … they should not ask a childish question.
Enjoy what you have and do not care about what you will maybe have until it is on your hard drive.
(That should be added into the FAQ, so no childish answer, just a link pointing to the FAQ.)
+1 and if your still not content then search this forum and gain the knowledge needed to improve it yourself, after all everything your getting is free!….so why complain!?

FLARE was Hit 5 years ago. Now you have much better tiles … see POH (for example).

I can just quote myself.
I totally disagree. A very HQ general tileset totally beat the 100% handmade textures because any theater can use them and you do not have to spen thousands of workhours to creat a nice general visual. You can do anything but at low the GE photo based textures has resolution issus while on preview of FLARE you can see even at low alt the textures are not blurry.

the whole 3-4 week thing is getting old and childish. Surely there is a more constructive way to communicate, almost reminds me of my teen years! In any event Its cool there are people actively doing things to improve the experience in the open community!! Big thank you to Falcon Online and many others here. I could go on about the childish elements but it would not be constructive.
You are right , community deserves transparence and trust.
Childish bms developers should be a shame to keep the community in the dark.
I completely disagree with my bms dev mates on that point that is why I decide to let you know the planned release date for 4.33.
We have set up the release date in 3 to 4 weeks.

Righteo, setting the clock for 3-4 weeks

BWAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA….!
Obviously, you were not being sarcastic, as sarcasm is - apparently - anathema on these boards (je suis Aragorn).
Thus - I must agree with your statement about a community deserving trust. The term renders it ipso facto.
A community - by the very nature of its definition - does require trust.
Without trust, one is left with a group of sycophants indulging a circle-jerk.
Hardly a “community”.Thus - congratulations on your insight. I heartily agree.
BMS continues to form the pillar against which other “communities” are judged…!For some brief history, it is interesting to note that - pre-BMS - when C3PO used the term 3 - 4 weeks, he was not even joking.
That it has devolved into a worn-out and boring cliché is neither here nor there.
However - simply interesting to note that it began as an earnest statement.I’m sure many of the old-timers remember when they first saw it.
Trust. Community. Sharing. Indeed. Well said.

Obviously, 3-4 weeks could also be 5-6 week…
And you know what? It could also be : in a few days… But the question could also be : What is behind few…
I would then say :
Nobody knows when 4.33 will be released, and, when I say nobody, it really means nobody!

Time knows, because time will tell when it’s ready.

4.33? Yeah, should be about… another 3 to 4 Falcon weeks, if I recall correctly…

LoL.

… sure m8, but then again, that era you refer to also entailed competition between (the) different f4 flavours… as I recall correctly, THAT has led to (was it really C3PO?!.. well, ok) the bold statements over my one is better/faster, etc. … 3-4 weeks was born.
The one version left with already sooo much wished for in the past, is indeed a milestone already. Perhaps we’re becoming the happy few to have lived all versions of F4, who knows? Nevertheless, the community is still growing and with a major leap over the last years into the multiplayer community, it has proven - once again - to be future proof. All because of the same community, led by the BMS-dev team of course.
as ever, high regards,
Fan -
You must have missed the part where I said it is neither here nor there…?
My true point was that “community” is important. (As is trust and respect within that community)
Only an ego-maniacal ignoramus atop the shoulders of a jerking-circle of sycophants would even ATTEMPT to debase the intelligence of the community at large.NOTHING Falcon-related is “future-proof”. Especially not without community. Do you want a virtual graveyard tour…?
Especially those of us who HAVE - as you say - lived all versions of F4 (and F3 before that) should realise the folly of over-confidence when it comes to “future-proof”.
The community “grows”, yes. But - in what direction and what of the “old-heads” with the real knowledge and experience from which much can be drawn.
Let’s hope they are seen as assets and resources and not childishly as “threats” and “grudges”. Only then can a ROUNDED community be built.Hell - I could form me an entire Falcon community comprised of 1,000 x three-year downs-syndrome babies.
Numbers sound impressive. Not going to be worth much come nappy-changing time, though. As Budds would say: “Just sayin’…”
But hell… I don’t have much experience in Falcon Development…
Regards,
The Gorn.

I hope there is no-one reading this with a downs-syndrome child. They may take offence at such comments!

… personally… as usual I do not understand Ara’s post! LOL
His redactional style is too elaborated English for my poor skills.
Sounds interesting … but I gave up some times ago.

beside the whole debate is pointless and you guys should concentrate on more contructive things rather than debate how a group of volonteer providing their work should organize themselves
bottom line: they do as they see fit if you don’t agree well there’s nothing you can change anyway…
