I can already sense some of the tactical tradeoffs at play… it’s pretty rare that a realism-enhancement also improves “gameplay” but I think this is just such a rare example.
I actually wonder if some of this was already modelled, and I just didn’t know? In the 4.35-36 era, I had a vague sense the jammer was working better when flying directly toward a target, or directly away… so many times, trying to “beam” an incoming SAM, and I end up getting smacked.
Also sometimes confused why HARM-as-sensor wasn’t working as I expected … maybe those were times I had jammer on? Never connected the dots.
