Dev team, thanks for the hard work u put on this SIM.

Thanks to you, Seifer, Mav-jp and the rest of this very good team !!!

Thank you for the update!

Great information. Thanks DEV team

Just got a quick question and it is purely cosmetic. Is it going to be a terrain update like less triangular mountains and hills or cockpit 3d model updates?
Don’t get me wrong, the sim is fantastic. Just a little curious. Keep on the great work.

Thanks Seifer for the sitrep, take your time to obtain a stable version.
Out of curiosity, to what extent did the new Bug reporting tool by Bluwolf make a difference ? Ie. do you want us to keep posting stuff there ?
Great work by all of you, highly appreciated from DK !

Thanks all for the kind responses. Enthusiasm is what drives this community
@jayb I cannot answer your question directly, since I don’t know about the tool (sorry about that). MavJP is usually the one who looks most at the public bugs and collect the useful information. I eventually looked at the forums and, at the beginning, I found some very useful information. After a while, the reports became either:
- random or without logs (which we couldn’t do much until we fix some other stuff causing this)
- reports of known issues;
- reports of things we already fixed.
But yes, any reports are good, specially the ones we can duplicate. Also, from this forum I got some very good info from Abelian on how to find corrupted memory bugs. I ended up doing differently, but his thread put me on the right track.

Thanks for this update.
Quite a different experience than the typical “3 to 4 Weeks” answer history this forum is so well known for.

To be honest, right now, we are past beyond the point of the bug tracker…
We are going down the rabbit hole of bugs solving, memory leaks and optimisations. The goal still stays to offer a good and stable version!
BMS team members are testing the hell out of this version internally to make sure we reach the level of quality we want.
Cheers

Maan, you really don’t wanna know, I’ve picked up somekind virosis and my digestion is “waterflow” last week, … so it isn’t half a joke.
But joke aside… I am grateful for all work and happy for upcoming release… whenever it hits. Thumbs UP.:thumb:

From my perspective, jayb: I’d very much like it to continue being used. A key purpose for the public tracker is to try to avoid duplicate reports, so as to decrease the time required for devs to sort through forum threads. Another is to reduce or remove people reporting issues that have already been fixed - as ideally there will already be an issue reported and marked as “resolved”.

Blood on the streets
Runs a river of sadness
Blood in the streets
It’s up to my thighs…FLASHBACK ALERT!
There’s blood in the streets, it’s up to my ankles
Blood in the streets, it’s up to my knee
Blood in the streets in the town of Chicago
Blood on the rise, it’s following me…A) I’m from Chicago…
B) …I once spent 2.5 weeks in a hospital bleeding out after a colonoscopy…lost an estimated 3 pints.
And I’ve always liked this song.
