It’s a great bit of kit. Pity the company seems to want to compensate for it by being totally inept at customer service or being able to supply customers with what they ordered.

@lemonides i’m not on pc, but if memory serve is a setting of the windows mixed reality software. At first can be a bit nauseating, but after some time this effect disappear and the fps gain remain.

Not a Windows user here, but maybe MonadoXR would be a solution, at least as a OpenXR runtime provider. I’m not sure if OpenHMD drivers would work under windows, but at least it supports Reverb G2.
BTW that’s why I stay away from closed ecosystem. Company may pull the plug on given tech and screw users just because thy (company) see no profits.

Sure, but the User file is better. This way each user can track easily the changes he is making to which config variables.

That was the solution! In the user.cfg it was still valued with “1”

@rubbra Thanks, nothing has worked. I’m now going to uninstall BMS and Falcon, and then reinstall to see if that does it. Appreciate the help.

and with fps VR of FPS counter in game you can see your fps

Yeah, multiple threads on it, the last most recent one here and I posted a couple links to older ones too with a possible solution. It does definitely seem to be Windows Sonic/Spatial Sound related. Unfortunately, it seems every time the WMR Mixed Reality Portal comes up it automatically turns back on Windows Sonic and will not allow you to actually turn it off until it is closed.

@Griffin Sometimes I have to use Windows key + Y to get the mouse to work. In WMR this key combination switches the focus of your input devices between monitor and VR.

Why this is necessary, I don’t know, because the sensor in the headset should detect whether I’m wearing it or not. But that’s how it is for me.

@Snake122 Maybe it depends on the headset? I can barely make out the radio freq numbers on the kneepad so being able to read them from the subtitles helps!

@GhastlyTT I think I fixed the spatial sound issue. You can disable Windows Sonic but not in the Spatial Sound section of the device. You have to click Advanced under Enhance Audio and then disable Spatial Sound from in there otherwise, WMR just keeps enabling Windows Sonic.

@The_Nephilim I’ve had this problem before and it was due to a bad cable connection to the Reverb at the HMD side. Turn the computer off, unplug the PC side display port and usb cables , pull the cable from your headset and re-insert it until it clicks, then re-plug the other cables and start back up.

Well I tried it and it still does not work. I am unsure what I have missed? I will keep fidgeting with it.

OK I got it. it was one of these lines in the VR Section in Falcon4 cfg:

set g_bVRNoPresent 1 // This will not display the companion window in VR (only HMD will show image in 3d)

set g_nVRHMD 1 // Enables the OpenVR (default 0/false).

they bother were on Zero I changed them too 1… works now yahoo!! 🙂
