Yes, most SAMs are not ideal in 4.32 but the SA-5 is really garbage compared to what it should be. Unfortunately the thrust profile has to be unique in BMS, while IRL it can change depending on range.

Anyway, all this missile modeling stuff is irrelevant to the OP’s question 😄

Because of bubble limitations and most common targets it can be selected a thrust profile which suits the best in game and RL either.

if you are using ANY kind of mod, refrain yourself from posting any bug report or any question relative to an issue, in that case, ask the authors of the mod(s)

+1. Aternatively, you can also try to reproduce the bug on clean install to see if it is the mod or BMS itself that causes the problem.

Man… that is a very old and incorrect way. Why do you think the timer has been removed from WDP 😉
After you are done in WDP, save your DTC in WDP.
Go back to BMS and in the UI load the DTC again. Now you have all your PPTs, Lines ect in the UI.

Another glitch: the first lod model doesn’t have de Tailchute, is there a version with a tailchute???

Regarding the above: it doesn’t seem to work: there is only “Save LOD as” which does not update the objects file, just saves the lod which I then cannot seem to import. I can goto parent or ct records and Check data, then Update but then the texture list reverts to the original .dds files specified in the texture list rather than what I’ve entered w/ LE. That’s why I ask how to change the actual texture list…

There is nothing special about a 3D cockpit. If your friend an make 3D models then just make a 3D model of the cockpit using accurate scale. To get the buttons etc to work in the game is an extra step but easy if the modeller has the ability to make the geometry to begin with.

Just make sure the pilots eyes are at the origin.

Again, the model isn’t from Ranger822, the model source is Thorak so the model itself is considered abandoned. I don’t see a problem using these models, as for the skins it’s more complicated because the skins belong to FF and I don’t want anyone from there start shouting that we allow FF work used without permissions, so please avoid posting FF skinsets to d/l, if you make your own skin for the model then NP.

Ok ill try to find or why not even make my own skin (for everything there is a first time).

Yes thats about right, i had the same issues when i tried to use the blk40 hud. Once you start into campaigns though, there are squadrons that use the blk 40/42 aircraft, so you can always select to fly those and make use of the mod. In the TE’s though, it’s mostly the blk52 c, or 2 seat D.

It isnt.
Wing model is different from cockpit model.
If you want to see or to Check cockpit model in lod editor.
Open cockpit.dat files with notpad or etc. in art/ckptart folders.
Its parent no writes in dat files. if you want change parent no with other wing parent numbers.

For the first time I was going to have an aircraft that was cross compatible between DCS, FSX and BMS!!!

If there is not detail on the map, its hardly worth having, no? Better giving us the rest of the NAV lines instead if they will have higher resolution.

For online the setup you have must be the same with the other guys. In online squadrons they use the same. That way multiplayer incompatibilities are zero.

For single play you can find and do many things as long as you don’t fubar your install.

Already discussed. Not possible for the moment, and not planned at this time.
