Hi The problem was solved by uninstalling the SST program and driver, then letting Windows 10 reinstall a generic driver. Since then, all buttons are DX-recognized.

@311Blade well, the monitor I use with Helios is a touchscreen, so technically I can touch the controls with my hands. I know, it’s not exactly like clicking a physical button, but the Helios profile is so refined and functional that it offers possibilities I couldn’t achieve with an ICP alone Ciao! -=CyB=-

@xellophane oh you may be on to something there The files are ID’d by DirectInput device id, which can sometimes change, on Windows, when moving USB plugs around… different hubs etc. Haven’t heard of this being a problem on wine, but I haven’t tested it myself

@Mauricio-Sipmann Could be. I had heard some versions of Windows only support a single language, but I thought it was limited to WSR, not MSP. Sorry, not much help here. Let me know if you figure anything out.

@tobier It is the most-used panel and for the cost of a SimGears panel, I’m happy to pay it rather than build one myself. I guess if you have the background skills and tools, then go for it. Another reason is that there are quite a number of design choices on the ICP, how the different buttons are at different heights and sizes, how there are parts of the design that will help you get your bearings even if feeling for the ICP, etc. If you have the correct measurements, then go for it.

@kungfoo that is what SimShaker and seems to be SimHaptics does. Different vibrations and channels for different effects. For my setup with SimShaker, the cannon vibration feels different than other ones and more on the left side, and especially the shoulder than the other zones through the JetSeat/6 channels available for bass transducers. I honestly haven’t had time to give Falcon Shaker a try yet, I need too.

@ScotchMclins XInput is implemented – it’s on by default. Give it a go. Left-stick: fly plane Right-stick: look around Triggers: adjust throttle The left- and right-bumpers act as a triple-shift-layer for the various buttons.

@airtex2019 Will do. Done. BTW the screen shot was my Auto key and they were there by default. Where I got the code. Shouldn’t have to copy them from full key AFAIK.

@Frederf said in A new callback request for SPD BRAKE functionality.: The real F-16 speed brake switch has 3 positions: close, hold, open. The open position is momentary (spring-loaded), the close and hold positions are not. The fact that Falcon 4.0 doesn’t have callbacks for all three positions is an ancient holdover from time immemorial. There’s no good reason why today in 2024 Falcon BMS shouldn’t have those three commands. AFBrakesIn AFBrakesOut AFBrakesHold Thank you Fred )) Cheers, Foil

@SemlerPDX said in Keyboard radar lock: @striker11 said in Keyboard radar lock: @VIPER-0 so you are saying that TMS UP or TMS DN locks target? Depending on the weapon, in most cases, pressing TMS UP one time will soft-lock a target; pressing TMS UP again in this scenario will hard-lock that same target. You’ll wanna refer to the mountain of manuals for details on the use of the Target Management Switch. These graphics can help, too - depending on whether you are in A-G or A-A mode, of course - these infographics and others can be found in the documentation in the TO 1F-16CMAM-34-1-1 BMS.pdf manual located at "(Your install location)\Falcon BMS 4.37\Docs\02 Aircraft Manuals & Checklists\01 F-16" under the ‘2.1.5 HANDS-ON CONTROLS’ section starting on page 54: [image: stick-aa-msl-dgft.png.26e41e24df776c8777984c262f6accd2.png] [image: stick-ag-nav.png.2a57c14018734085cf64b48b8b071809.png] These charts are the heart of the control, it is essential to know them. Yes, for players returning from old Falcon likely find quite a steep relearning the BMS but this is the only way. EVERYTHING is referred by these 3 “POV hat” main controls and the rest. TMD, DMS, CMS.

@TxMtb This looks similar to the Loupedeck Live. Though I’ve been able to make keyboard shortcuts, I’ve not found a way to use any of the knobs to control any rotary knobs in the cockpit.

Not exactly what you guys are looking for but I’m always, always, always using PointCTRL in BMS. The FCUs control my kneeboards and will soon be adapted to control the passthrough, the aux buttons control other things like FPS, screenshot, re-centre VR, etc. Extra buttons are always welcome!
